I previously used their daycare service and was very satisfied. The staff were very friendly and my overall experience was great, which is why I decided to try their dog wash/grooming service as well.\n\nI showed the dog washer, Taylor, a photo of the style I wanted, and she said she could definitely do it. Unfortunately, the result was very different from what I had shown. I honestly don’t think she has ever groomed a Bichon before.\n\nOnly after everything was finished was I told that there was matting and that it couldn’t be done as requested. I wish this had been communicated before the grooming started so we could have discussed other options.\n\nIt’s unfortunate because I truly liked their boarding service and would have continued using it. I hope they improve communication with customers during grooming services in the future.

we love these guys and girls! they totally take care of our dog Orlando! and our dog loves going there! they always take such great care of him. We have children and they miss the dog when he is gone and the dog house always sends us pics of our dog and lets us know how hes doing. We are very happy and pleased with them and recommend them to everybody

This place is so wonderful!!! We had an important medical appointment in Portland and found ourselves needing to find daycare at the last minute for our newly adopted pup. Tristan was able to adjust the staffing for the following morning in order to accommodate us. It made a huge difference for us to be able to attend our appointment and not have to worry about our sweet new furry family member. She was very well-taken care of and staff was super-friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back to this place whenever we need boarding or daycare in Portland. Thank you, Dog House staff!!

Staff is really friendly! I love the hours and availability plus it's in a nice location ... I love to take my dog for a walk on the waterfront after I pick her up. Recommend if you are looking for a local doggy daycare (over Dogtopia which I didn't have a good experience with). My dog always has fun :)

Friendly staff, a variety of goodies for the pups, and perfect location.\nOur two boys had a blast and were completely exhausted by the time we got home. They had no injuries or anything during their time here.\n\nWe took our boys here while visiting PDX for the weekend. We dropped them off around 9-9:30 and picked them up around 5-5:30.\n\nWe would gladly use them when returning to Portland.
