Back in 2024, I'd recently adopted a new young dog. I'd never taken any of my other dogs to daycare before, but had always heard so many wonderful things about Howliday Inn. So my dog Cooper now goes to daycare 2 days a week and I board him there whenever I go out of town. The people there are amazing and truly care about the well-being of all the dogs. The employees aren't just employees; they truly care about all the dogs and make a point to share both good news (and sometimes bad news) to owners, so owners are always aware of behavioral issues or things to work on.\n\nI feel like I can leave Cooper with the team without worry. I know he's being looked after well and they are great about responding to questions (even I get sad leaving him behind, so I always want to know how he's doing!). Daycare has been a godsend for both me and Cooper. Cooper is getting all his social time and learning how to be a better dog, and I'm getting time to do the things I need to do without worry.\n\nMore than anything, the people there are almost like family. Everyone has been so nice and welcoming, and it doesn't hurt that they seem to love Cooper as much as I do. That's not something you get with a lot of other places.\n\nHighly recommend Dylan and the Howliday Inn team!

This is not going to start off the way you think it would.... I heard about Howliday Inn from a negative experience someone shared on Nextdoor. The way the owner responded made me want to book with them. The response was level headed and compassionate. I've had experience with taking my dogs to doggy cares and anytime you get too many together there are bound to be things that come up.\n\nWhen I got my new puppy she needed a space where she could expend her energy. Both pups got their Canine Influenza vaccine prior to going. The puppy loves it there so much and it's helped her come out of her shell that my senior gal now joins her there occasionally to make new friends. The staff have all been super awesome and you can tell they care for the pups.\n\nIn addition to being a great space and great people they are super invested in the local community. As a resident nearby this means a lot to me. Our area is underserved and we want more positive businesses like Howliday Inn!

The Howliday Inn is absolutely the best doggie daycare! My dog loves going—he gets so excited the moment I ask if he wants to go. The staff takes such great care of him and communicates wonderfully, so I’ve never once felt worried about dropping him off. We also love that there are both indoor and outdoor experiences for the dogs, giving him plenty of space and variety to play. And the Halloween costumes are always so fun and adorable! He adores his daycare pup pals and all the amazing humans who look after him. We’re so grateful for Dylan and the entire Howliday Inn team!

This doggie daycare is the best! I’ve tried a few others in the Portland area, but this one stands out as the top choice. It’s a bit of a drive from my workplace, but the convenience of dropping Mochi off and feeling at ease when I pick him up makes it worth it. Mochi is always thrilled to see the workers here, and I know they interact with him regularly, which I appreciate. When I pick him up, I get to hear about the dogs he played with that day. The facility is also very clean and pleasant. In contrast, at a previous daycare, Mochi would always come home smelling like cleaning supplies, but here, he just comes home tired and happy.

We have been taking our sweet pup Mabel to Howliday Inn for the past two ish years and have been nothing but happy about how they have cared for her both for daytime care and boarding. Mabel comes home tired and happy, and is always eager to return. The staff are kind and give us updates about her day when we pick her up. We initially picked Howliday Inn because it is close to our house but have stayed because we feel confident she is being cared for and the dogs are watched closely. Thanks to all of the lovely staff at Howliday Inn!
