One of the best doggy daycare places in the Portland area. Virgil and his wife, Martha take such great care of the dogs. They clearly know what they are doing! They have been so accommodating and given such great advice based on what they see. She would always be so happy when we pulled into the parking lot and saw them come and greet her! I will truly miss sending my puppy here!

Our husky pup, Sampson loves this place! The biggest green flag is how comfortable and eager he is to see Virgil at drop off. He gets excited as soon as we pull off the freeway exit. Virgil definitely knows dogs and I appreciate the no BS attitude with the updates and during the initial evaluation. Dogs connect most when they respect the person in charge and Sampson definitely seems to. He’s always so chill after a visit at Dog Connection. Highly recommend

I reached out for help for an upcoming event that required my dog to have special care and boarding for a 48 hour period.\n\nThere was an out of town event that I needed help for shelter for our Senior Dog.\n\nI left a voicemail with the requirements for my dog and our timeline. This was before they closed their doors that day.\n\nNo one has made any attempt to contact me back. Nor was there a follow up letter from the company stating their kennel boarding was unavailable.\n\nIt should be either a policy or a requirement to respond within 24 hours of the call. As I had to make accommodations to help my dog find boarding

Our pup is so happy to be dropped off for daycare at DogConnection which I think shows how much she loves going and her time there. We just started boarding her and she did great. The owner loves dogs and has vast knowledge of their behavior. After her intake he nailed her in his rundown - he picked up on her exact personality in the quick time he had with her. I trust them to look after her, care for her, and ensure she enjoys some much needed play and social time.

I have so many thanks to give this amazing boarding facility. My situation was less than ideal, and Virgil worked with me to board my two dogs so I could leave town with some peace of mind. I am kind of neurotic with my dogs and my plans to have a friend watch them fell through. Another friend of mine sent me this place due to the incredibly high reviews. No regrets - I was at ease and received daily messages with how they were acclimating. Will definitely use again.
