We needed a place to board our dog for the week ,but didn’t want to take him to a place where we felt like he would be in a cage all day. We found Yardstick when we were driving around downtown. When I say the staff and team members truly care about your puppy I truly mean it. Every single person we interacted with was kind and so gentle with our dog. We received daily updates and photos, which put our minds at ease. My dog had a great time from looking at the photos and he was not stressed out or anxious. Thank you Yardstick! And thank you to the incredible staff, you are AWESOME! I will definitely recommend this place to other pet owners and will definitely book future appointments for any of my boarding needs

I’d been hunting for a while for a great place to take care of my dog, which can be harder than you’d think sometimes. Yardstick is exactly that great place.\n\nYou can tell they make an effort to keep dogs in small groups so that they can really get the attention they need. The folks at yardstick make sure to give personal, 1:1 time with my dog who isn’t really a daycare dog. They send pictures throughout the day and he is just thrilled to be there. When I pick him up they give specific updates on how things went so you can tell they’re really engaged.\n\nHighly recommend this group.

We had a great experience. My dog loved his stay and was very tired the next day from all the fun he had. He stayed for one night and I received multiple pictures of him that I really appreciate. I was very happy and relaxed he was in great hands.

When I tell you… please take my word for it. From check-in to check-out, I never expected it would be possible to have such a SEAMLESS experience. My dog is a rescue, a pit bull, and doesn’t do well with strangers.\n\nI would have to drive him an hour to a farm just so someone could watch him when we went out of town. And he would come back smelly, clearly depressed, and just so burnt out.\n\nI’m BEYOND thankful for Yardstick. I have hope knowing that I can travel and not be worried about my dog. He was absolutely enjoying his time.\n\nThe team sent SO many pictures everyday, from the morning, mid afternoon, evening, to bedtime. They absolutely enjoyed playing the ball with him so much, too.\n\nI opted in for the option to bathe him upon check-out, and they were nothing but timely, communicative, committed, and absolutely cared for my pet.\n\nThe rates I paid were $85 a night for the suite, $7 add on for a filled treat each night , and $50 for the check-out grooming. I also left a tip to express how satisfied I was with the services all around.\n\nI also didnt provide enough food for the last meal. They texted me and provided options for various meals they had on hand. They made sure to treat my pet as if it was their own!!!! ABSOLUTELY YES YES YES BOOK and try them out!!

I am very particular about my pups, I have an 11.5 year old and a 1.5 year old. As you can imagine their needs are very dynamic. I would not trust anyone as much as I trust yardstick.\nI can travel in peace knowing that not only are my babies safe they are having fun! When my older pup needed meds and a cone they had no problem accommodating, highly recommend. ❤️
