Modern Animal NOPA

Modern Animal has been such a wonderful veterinary experience. Their app makes everything incredibly easy — I love the chat feature because I can quickly ask questions and get helpful answers without always needing to schedule a visit. Booking appointments through the app is simple and convenient, and overall the care has been very reasonably priced compared to many vet clinics.\n\nWhat really meant the most to me was the kindness they showed when my cat passed away. They sent flowers and a handwritten card, which was such a thoughtful gesture during a really difficult time. It truly showed how much they care about both pets and their owners.\n\nI’m very grateful for the compassion and support from the Modern Animal team and highly recommend them.

We decided to start using Modern Animal after they opened the NoPa location because we live in the neighborhood. We also really liked the ease of using the app for chats and appointments. It’s nice that you can see all of your pets records as well.\nThe office staff has always been caring and friendly. Recently, it was time to say goodbye to our beloved dog. Everyone was kind, reassuring and professional. Dr. Frankenberger and the staff were very compassionate during a difficult visit.\nWhen it’s time for another pet, I won’t hesitate to join again. Thank you.

I really enjoy my visits with Dr. Jeon at Modern Animal. He’s thorough, takes time to answer all of my questions without making me feel silly for asking, and does a great job explaining what to expect so there are no surprises later. I’ve had similar experiences with other doctors.\n\nOne part of the experience was a bit uncomfortable, though. I was coached about getting fecal and urine samples returned on time after the nurse had already asked the lab if they would still accept them one day late. I completely understand the importance of returning samples on time, but since it was already established that they were late, the “reprimand” felt unnecessary.\n\nOverall, Dr. Jeon provides excellent care and I trust him with both of my dogs. I’d recommend Modern Animal and the membership style vet approach to anyone considering it.

We love Modern Animal. Vets and vet techs have all been warm and caring to our dog and to us. The chat feature is SO helpful to get quick advice when we’ve had questions or concerns. Scheduling is easy. The environment is calm. Highly recommended for great pet care.

Definitely recommend! They have monthly options or you can pay per visit! They have amazing little duck treats available and on your first visit they give you a little welcome packet and my dog loved the lil wool bone! We had a really great experience.
