We found Dr. Johnson a couple of months ago after I tried three different vets. She’s the only one that was willing to try low dose protocol (for meds) for my girl that was diagnosed with an Addison disease.\nUna loves her new vet. Recently we brought our other dog that is developing kidney issues. Dr. Johnson is patient and knowledgeable.

I love this place and everyone who works there. The staff is so helpful, my cat had an accident in her carrier due to nerves and the sweet lady at the front desk helped me take care of it. We’re always immediately taken back to an exam room, which really calms my girl down, it has treats and a cat tree that goes a long way in soothing her. The vet, and vet techs, are all so kind and my cat obviously is very comfortable with them. It’s easy to make an appointment online and they have great availability. I’ll choose this place any time! (:

Dr. Johnson is one amazing veterinarian. She is so knowledgeable, caring and resourceful when it comes to the care of my dogs. The staff is equally wonderful with the care they take and the follow up for each of my pets. I trust Dr. Johnson implicitly with my pups. I wish my own GP was as amazing for me as Dr. Johnson is for my pups. Love the Infurmary!!

RETRO INTERIOR-DESIGN CHIC PLUS A FIVE STAR VET\n\nMy service labrador has had a super complicated medical history, and had been through hell and back, which means I have to. He is going through an intensive treatment, and I found Dr. Johnson through AI (both ChatGPT + Gemini)\n\nI called and was given a same day appointment—unheard of, and it is true: DR. JOHNSON IS A DIFFERENT KIND OF VET.\n\nDriving into a strip mall near a gas station, you think "oh no, we're entering vet clinic hell—chemicals, dog pee, hair all over the place, "CAUTION" signs on the floor, mops, and the smell of your money leaving your wallet.\n\nNO - I entered a mint and orange retro style clinic that had Wallpaper of dog's pooping that I would have found on Etsy, and ULTRA-clean vet clinic—like a crime scene clean up came with a museum restoration company and cleaned before each dog entered. I was then showed the fridge which had PUPCUPS, and also human snacks and drinks. Okay so we're at a resort - getting the vibe.\n\nThe vet tech (Laura?) came out and got me and my labrador, and already knew about his case, offering a personalized greeting, and sympathizing with the history of a complex six year old lab.\n\nI had sent what some would call a MANIC email that was about 12 pages long, and instead, I was told I was organized, and they loved that my email had an index. When I had checked my email, I saw response and thought they're going to say "too much, sorry we can't take it" like 10+ vets have, but no.\n\nDr. Johnson did the MOST thorough exam of any vet, specialist, etc. I've been to, and I wish she was also my doctor. She had come to conclusion I had come up with using AI based on lab results, and had studied in the two hours between my email and our arrival.\n\nShe was informative, HUMAN, compassionate, empathetic, smart, and extremely organized. She treated my dog like my dog, and not a number, a patient, or statistic. She wasn't pushy about services, and it felt like an authentically collaborative experience. She answered all 853 of my questions, and gave me reasoning behind decisions. We have a plan - an ongoing plan. Substantially different than the bandaids and BYE BYE's I've had at nearly all other clinics and hospitals.\n\nIn the past, I had to use my own work technology to secretly source my vets personal emails because their staff was so disorganized, but not here, Dr. Johnson OFFERED me her email. I told her "I wouldn't if I were you... honestly"...knowing myself, and she said "it's fine"... TBD.\n\nTHAT is not just caring, its investing in a patient and a process, across 6 states, and countless vets and specialists, Dr. Johnson, her clinic, and how they operate, IS rare both in human medicine and vet medicine.\n\nDespite a 64 minute drive home, I felt safer, more at ease, and for the first time (maybe second) in a vet setting, I felt HEARD.\n\nIf you love your pet as much as I do (two tattoos, a wall dedicated to him in my house, and a world that revolves around him), THIS IS YOUR NEW VET CLINIC.\n\nActually, instead of vet clinic: Let's call it what it is—a FIVE STAR VETERINARY MEDICAL SPA.

6 stars out of 5 if I could :)\nOur first visit with Dr Johnson for our Mochi was great. The facility was nice, clean, and nicely stocked with treats for our dogs. The staff were all SO kind and looked happy to be there and genuinely enjoy taking care of animals. The vet tech and Dr Johnson took their time with our timid Shiba. She gets really anxious at the vet, and this was probably one of the least traumatic visits for her. Dr Johnson examined her slowly on the floor, talking to her, introducing herself before jumping straight into prodding and poking. I felt like she listened to our concerns and gave sound, reasonable advice for our elderly girl. The prices were very reasonable to me. Especially after visiting a recent vet we didn’t like at Poway for 1 thing and being charged $200 more than we paid today despite addressing multiple complaints today. They were also quite transparent with their prices online.\n\nI actually liked our vet visit today rather than leaving stressed and dissatisfied. I am planning to switch our other dog’s care over to here too once she’s due for her annual visit. We have moved around a lot in the 13 years I’ve had my dog and this is in my top 2. I’m so glad I found this new vet near me!
