What pet parents say

I boarded my senior dog for the very first time with Chuck just a couple weeks ago while I was out of the country on vacation for 5 days. My dog has high separation anxiety and has never gone more than 24hrs without me. Chuck did so well with my dog and made him feel so comfortable and confident while I was away. When I returned my dog was very happy and had a lot of energy! Chuck is so in tune with animals and pays special attention and care to the needs of the animals in his care. I will definitely be using his services in the future and feel so happy to have found Pooch Patrol!

If I could give more than 5 stars for Pooch Patrol's services, I would. I rarely leave reviews but feel compelled to do so. I recently went on vacation for a couple of weeks out of state. I have a very sweet and anxious golden retriever who is rarely away from his humans. Due to his sensory sensitivities/anxiety, I did not want to use regular dog boarding services. Chuck with Pooch Patrol was so in tune with my dog's needs, ensuring that my pooch was comfortable, well-cared for, and had fun. His 2 week stay with Chuck ended up being my dog's vacation. He went on a couple of walks a day, napped on a comfortable sofa with human snuggles, and was engaged in games that stimulated his mind. I received photos and updates from Pooch Patrol routinely, which gave me such peace of mind, knowing that my fur baby was having just as much fun away from home as me. Moving forward, Pooch Patrol will be my only choice for overnight and day dog boarding.

Chuck is awesome! Highly communicative around scheduling and pet care appointments, always makes sure that my pup is well taken care of when I am out for the random weekend trip. Takes beautiful photos while out on their walks so you can share in their adventures! Can't recommend Chuck more highly.

I had to leave the state on a semi-urgent trip. I spent weeks looking for a boarder that could care for my senior dog with pretty bad anxiety and some incontinence due to kidney issues. I looked at the big commercial boarding places around town, vets offices, and tried the pet-sitting apps. Nothing seemed like a good fit. He'd either have to be in with dozens of young dogs in open play that would probably give him a stroke, or he'd be cooped up in a cage alone. No one I talked to on the apps would consider him with the incontinence issues.\nEnter Chuck. My dog's issues were not a concern to him. We had a meet and greet and I was surprised how quickly my pup warmed up to him and explored his backyard and house (I'm definitely one of those people who trusts my dog's opinion of people, and he doesn't normally feel at ease that fast around most people). Chuck has a very calm energy, and talking to him it's clear he knows his way around animals, and senior needs as well. His house is customized to maximize safety and comfort for the animals in his care.\nWhile I was away I got daily updates and photos of my boy to see how he was doing, which was a great comfort. He kept me up to date on how many other dogs would be staying at the same time (which seems to be typically no more than a handful at a time, and he has separation strategies should they not get along). Pick up was a breeze; Chuck was very flexible with drop off and pick up times.\nI couldn't have asked for better care for my dog, and I was so pleased that he was willing to work my dog's quirks. I'll be recommending him to all my friends and absolutely will utilize his services next time I have to travel. Thank you, Chuck!

If I could give 100 stars- I would! Chuck is truly amazing. We have a super anxious dog and one rowdy puppy and are always nervous to leave them in someone else’s care. While traveling across the country for the holidays our pups spent the week with Chuck and we had never felt more at ease. We knew they were being loved and cared for and getting all the pets, snuggles, walks and attention they could! Chuck goes above and beyond “dog watching-“ he helped us find the perfect dose of CBD to help support our dogs and he even worked on basic training commands in the time he spent with them. His constant communication and pictures definitely meant a lot to us. He is the real deal and we are SO glad to have found someone we trust wholeheartedly with our dogs. Thank you SO much, Chuck!!
