I am absolutely heartbroken and beyond upset. My dog is the sweetest, most gentle, innocent soul, and ever since going to Dogtopia in pearl district Portland , he is no longer the same . We went to dogotopia in paradise valley Arizona before this and they loved him he was well behaved . We moved to Portland and they abused him to the point that he now panics and bites when anyone even tries to put a collar on him. This is not who my dog is. Before this, he trusted everyone and had nothing but love in his heart.\nI took him to professional training, desperate for answers, and they told me this kind of behavior doesn’t just come out of nowhere it almost always comes from trauma or abuse. Now that we’ve moved back Arizona, every single trainer, groomer, and facility I’ve spoken to has said the exact same thing. Hearing it over and over makes the pain even worse. We are now at another Dogtopia in Arizona and they are so sweet and agree he was abused in Portland and are working with him.\n\nI am completely shattered knowing that someone hurt my dog, especially because he is so pure and loving. He’s amazing with people, gentle with everyone he meets, and would never hurt anyone unless he was pushed to fear. The fact that his trust was broken breaks me. I will never stop being angry and hurt over what they did to my sweet, innocent dog.

We LOVE Dogtopia Pearl District!!! The staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful, and great with all the dogs. Our dog goes regularly for daycare and is always so happy to be there! We have also taken advantage of the grooming services and dog-boarding, and have always felt confident that our dog was in good hands :)

My girl Vivian has the full body wiggles as soon as we hit the block and leaves just as happy, just a lot more exhausted. The staff are wonderful to her and communicate with me if there are any issues. She gets regular rest breaks and is learning boundaries with other pups. We are both really happy she has all these friends!

Our doggie, Strudel, was here several days a week as a puppy and loved it. We moved away for 2.5 years and he just went back for the first time. As soon as we pulled up he was so excited he could barely contain himself. He raced in the front door and straight to the staff for cuddles, tail all wagging. His joy at seeing his old friends made my heart so full. They truly love on the pups here. You can tell the staff are well trained and genuinely love dogs. Thank you for loving our pup so well!

Freida Kalo (the dog) and I live Dogtopia. The full service facility makes my life so easy and she is a happy well socialized pup. They off the Dash collar that tracks your pet’s activity and the daycare days are always high activity days. The staff are wonderful, too. Everyone is friendly and professional.
