Robert is the absolute best! His calm demeanor and understanding of dog behavior has been a huge help for JuneBug. I adopted Junie from Freedom Brothers rescue less than a year ago. She is so perfect until she has to meet new people. Then her over-excitement causes her to act dominantly and can progress to unwanted behaviors. Robert’s training and guidance have been instrumental in helping her become the best doggo she can be. He not only knows what to do to correct the behavior but he understands her why. Combining both of these things and formulating a plan and targeted training exercises has already been such a huge help. I highly recommend Robert and would trust him to work with any and all dogs and dog parents.

Working with Robert has been life changing for us. His methods slanted with me because the are based on learning theory and truly work. I have worked with another trainer in the past, but Robert taught me what I need to do differently. Tucson can be stubborn (litter wide trait), but constant training with him has helped him become one fantastic dog. He recently started agility class with Robert, and is working on his confidence with these skills.

Rob is great with dogs, from the first session to 6th is what I’m at now, we’re seeing a huge improvement with our 6 year old rescue. He is not aggressive but on a leash around other dogs he can get reactive and we have been working on that with rob and we see huge changes in his behavior. Rob cares about your animal and you can tell he genuinely cares for dogs and shows them the love you do. Any kind of training you need, I feel this is the guy you would want, he knows a lot from diet for your dog, to a bunch of ways to help with whatever is going on. Highly recommend!! He is on time to the sessions which is great and communicates with you well, if you need to cancel or anything like that. Highly recommend Rob!!

I highly recommend Rob for dog training and general pet advice. He has been incredibly patient, not only with my dog, but with me as well throughout the training process. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that training is just as much about the owner learning how to properly communicate and give direction as it is about the dog learning commands.\nAlthough I already had a strong bond with my dog, this experience has strengthened that bond even more. Rob’s approach is calm, engaging, easy to understand, and he truly makes the process enjoyable. He gives practical techniques and exercises to continue working on at home, which has made a huge difference in our progress.\nI’ve also noticed he works well with all different types of dogs and personalities, so it’s clear he’s very experienced and knowledgeable with various breeds and temperaments. I’m extremely happy with the results and grateful for the positive experience. I would definitely bring my dog back for more training. Recommended 100 %.

Simply stated - Robert is phenomenal! His presence from the moment he walked through our front door had our pack of dogs mesmerized. We were in total shock. Normally they would have been barking, jumping and carrying on. He spoke softly and with a friendly tone. Suddenly, they were all super calm and they all wanted to be his best friend. You have to understand that our dogs don't do that with anyone. They are almost all COVID dogs so they aren't as well socialized as we'd like.\n\nWe signed up for a training package and got started the following week. We have been so impressed with Robert's knowledge of the different dog breeds and that he trains them based on their individual breed traits. That's a feat with our pack. We have an Alaskan Malamute, a Border Collie, a Mastiff mix, a Great Pyrenees mix, and two supermutts (one mostly Pitbull and the other mostly Chow).\n\nWe have learned so much from Robert and the simple tricks he's taught us have really made our home a more peaceful place. We understand that we still have a good deal of work ahead of us because we have a motley crew of rescue pups who all have different ancestry and natural instincts, but Robert has saved our sanity.\n\nI can't recommend Robert enough. If you want a trainer who really understands your dog, and you're willing to listen to his advice and suggestions, call Robert.
