Pepper just completed a board and train stay at Balancing Paws and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.\n\nFrom the beginning, they treated Pepper like family while also giving her the structure, consistency, and guidance she needed. We noticed such a difference in her confidence, responsiveness, and overall calmness after coming home. The communication throughout the stay was amazing — updates and photos via Instagram that made us feel completely comfortable and 2 referrals helped us with trusting them with our girl.\n\nWhat stood out most was how balanced their approach felt. It never felt harsh or one-size-fits-all. They really took the time to understand Pepper’s personality and work with her in a way that supported both training and emotional regulation.\n\nIf you’re looking for trainers who genuinely care about dogs and their humans, I highly recommend Balancing Paws. We’re so grateful for the foundation they helped create for Pepper.

We recently took our new 1 year old rescue pup Kenny to Balancing Paws for a 2 week boot camp training. He had been a stray and he lacked confidence when outside with pretty much everything. When we picked him up and took him for a walk next to a busy street we were amazed with his new found confidence! He had no recall either before he went to BP and now when we call him he comes running. We couldn't be happier. We are continuing with the group classes that come with the training to continue to keep learning. We actually found Yoni at BP over 11 years ago and our 2 pups then were trained there. We were always asked how we got our dogs to be so well behaved. As you can see from the photo the 12 year old still does place really well and now so does Kenny! Yoni, John and Jenna are outstanding.

Balancing Paws came highly recommended from a neighbor about a year ago. The location is almost an hour from my house so I didn’t look into it. HUGE REGRET! We had our first 1:1 training here and LOVED IT! The drive was worth it! After almost 2 years of working with trainers, Balancing Paws has a new approach and we saw a little improvement in the first session! I am excited to learn more and help my doggo be his best version. The property from the street doesn’t look big but you walk through the gates and it’s a doggy heaven in the backyard! Extremely clean and organized with lots of different equipment for the dogs. I would highly recommend!

We love our experience with Balancing Paws! We began the day we brought Pearl home with a series of zoom sessions to provide us with the fundamentals for surviving the puppy stage. As she got older we realized that it’s time experience their amazing facility! What a place! Yoni and his crew were amazing. Pearl absolutely loved being there, our family received the learning that WE needed, and after two weeks we brought home a dog that is the envy of our very dog friendly neighborhood. She no longer runs across the street to see her puppy friends, can play appropriately, knows her limits, and she can even enjoy some time in the grass alongside her friends. We highly recommend Balancing Paws for your dog training and/or boarding needs!

Balancing Paws Dog Training is life changing. I am not even exaggerating. I rescued a 7 month old herding dog last October and the first few months were rough. He was getting in fights with my elderly pooch, I was bitten multiple times while breaking up the fights (I obviously didn't understand the signs and triggers to prevent the fights in the first place). My family no longer wanted to come over because they were terrified of the dog and everything that I was trying was ineffective. I hired a dog trainer who in one training gave some advice such as getting rid of the crate, which set us back even more in giving boundaries and a safe space for the pooch. The next trainer wouldn't respond to my calls or come back as she was scared of Tito’s.\n\nFast forward to being introduced to Balancing Paws. Yoni’s first session with Tito’s yielded significant improvement right away. He has really helped me to understand the mind of the dog versus how I think as a human and given us the tools to making tiny tweaks that have given order to the home and ultimately gives my pooch the boundaries that my pooch needs in order to be a confident, well-behaved member of the household while keeping everyone safe.\n\nIn just 3 months of one-on-one and group sessions, we can now go on overnight trips together, have dinner on a crowded outdoor patio restaurant (which I would not have attempted prior), he is calm when guests come over, and it has restored order to what was a very stressful situation. Although the training sessions were for Tito’s, he also provided excellent advice and techniques to help my elderly dog with her separation anxiety. I wish I had met Yoni nine years ago when I first became a dog owner. The dog psychology seems so common sense now, but it has been a real paradigm shift.\n\nThe facility itself is a great set up and is very clean and welcoming to humans and pooches alike. Any dog owner will benefit from this training. I am moving across the country in a few weeks and plan to continue the training sessions virtually to help in getting settled into the new home and making sure that I'm setting the pooches up for success from day one. Thank you Yoni!
