Alta Vista Boarding & Grooming

Dropped off my cat for boarding as her usual boarding facility was fully booked.\n\nWhen I arrived, I was met with the worst kennel stench imaginable. I asked for a tour of the cat boarding area only to find that it was not far separated from the dog area, which I can imagine would be very traumatizing for a cat to hear all that barking. It also seemed like the area was a repurposed storage closet that they tossed some kennels in and called it adequate enough for cats. Not to mention it was not very clean.\n\nEnded up picking up my cat the same day. Did not feel comfortable leaving her in Alta Vista care considering the condition of the facility. Luckily, the boarding place I typically use had some last minute availability I was able to switch over to.\n\nI have no ill will towards the staff-they were cooperative and kind enough to not charge me anything for the few hours I had my cat staying there. Just putting this out there as a caution to others wanting to board their cat(s).

I've been using the grooming services for a while now, never had any issue. I received a call from a member "you might want to make you way down here, your pet is in a bad situation." I arrived staff member brought out my pet DEAD. groomer said "We left to turn off the washer, it happened to fast." My pet was left unattended by groomer. This experience has made me seriously question the ethics, integrity, and standards of your entire operation. Pets are family, they deserve far better than what mine experience here.

There are so good with my cat Ellie. The only groomers I use for her. They are professional, yet friendly. You never feel like you are imposing on them when you ask for something specific regarding care.

I’ve been using the grooming services for awhile and never had any issues until this most recent appointment. My sweet dog had hot spots (sores) all over him. He required veterinary treatment which included shaving around his neck, along with steroids and a foaming medication to be applied once a day. He is in pain and it breaks my heart. I will definitely not be returning.

I’ve been boarding my two fur babies there for several years now. I also get the little one trimmed there. Love this place. The staff are absolutely wonderful.
