Their crickets are AMAZING! They never die (well, until they are eaten 😆). I think the owner said they are called Texas Banded Crickets so the fact they are bred here makes all the difference. I have been buying crickets regularly for 20+ years and have never had such healthy and resilient crickets in my life. Also, they are quite beautiful. The owner nerded out about them with me the first time I bought them and I appreciated that a lot.\n\nCustomer service at the store is always insanely good and when I pass near anyone working, they ask if they can help.\n\nMy dog is stoked to get a treat at the checkout and the cashiers are always happy to provide him with the biscuit and tell him how cute he is 😋\n\nThere is always a good selection of items on sale and we grab something every time we visit.

Friendly service and feel like the high end food I’m looking for is here and kept in stock. I want pickup to be quick and effortless and my order is usually filled fairly quickly. Don’t make me go thru hoops for pickup and I’ll be a happy customer! Appreciate the occasional sales and that they stock the Open Farm brand.

I was a frequent shopper here and spent a lot of money on my 4 pets here. Upon the employees request, I signed up for their emails and even downloaded the app to start getting rewards points. The employee was super nice and showed me the extra things you could do in the app to gain your first $5 reward!! Super cool until I walked in my next trip to try and use that reward. The manager says he will not let you use any rewards or coupons on anything that's already on sale or marked down in the store because he "doesn't get credit for those" and how is this the customers fault? Nothing in the terms and conditions says you can't use your own rewards points on sale items. And when I called another location to ask if this was normal, they explained this location is a franchise and the guy running it basically does whatever he wants including not letting you use your rewards points. So, I will absolutely drive to the Buda location, or even go to petsmart who will let you use your rewards points and coupons on anything besides clearance items, which is what stores should be doing to retain their customers. You claim its to keep costs down, well petsmart and petco around you have cheaper prices even before sales and rewards being redeemed, and you also claim its to keep your employees wages high, well they also told me they are getting paid $10 an hour. So it sounds like you are just lying to keep your own pockets lined. So, buyer beware. If you want to be treated like you dont matter, keep coming here.

I came into the store today and the employee at the register did not give me basic customer service and it was upsetting for me so I left. I then wrote a one-star review because of this and store owner Adam saw it and contacted me. He asked me what happened and said that he wanted to use this as a learning experience and see if he can coach his employee. That is absolutely some of the best manager dedication I've seen from a company in a very long time. While I did leave there unhappy because I wasn't able to purchase the recovery vest I needed to for my cat, Adam found out about that he offered me one at half price. To anybody that's in a position of manager you can take note from how Adam is running his business. This is the best case scenario in a situation like this.

I took my 5 lb Yorkie here for full service. I got a voicemail a little over 2 hrs later saying my baby was ready and she did very well. I get there and my baby looks exactly like she did when I dropped her off. She did not receive a haircut but a very light trim and the only difference I saw was the bow on top of her head. Her hair is uneven, longer on one side and the groomer said she was afraid of the clippers. I also felt like her nails should have been cut a little shorter. This was a complete waste of time and money. Now I have to get her recut because she didn’t receive a haircut.
