West LA Dogs Review\n\nI used to work for West LA Dogs years ago, and even after several years later, it still holds such a special place in my heart. I’ve boarded my dogs at other facilities before, but nothing compares to the experience WLAD provides. It’s the most natural, fulfilling, and trustworthy environment I could ever ask for.\n\nAs someone who’s been in the dog industry for over 25 years and currently works as a professional groomer, I’m extremely selective about where I leave my dogs. I also struggle with severe PTSD and anxiety, so leaving my boys for four nights while I went on a much needed vacation 270 miles away was honestly really hard for me.\n\nBut West LA Dogs made the entire process so easy and comforting. The staff was gentle, patient, and so understanding—they turned my stress into peace of mind with the best updates a dog mom could ask for. They really listened when I explained that my youngest is a bit skittish and under-socialized, while my other two are, well… a bit much—one loves to knock people over and the other roughhouses like a goofy GSD who has no idea how strong he is.\n\nEven from miles away, I felt connected to my boys the whole time. When I picked them up, they were calm, happy, and absolutely exhausted—the kind of tired you only get from a weekend full of real play and enrichment. They’ve been sleeping peacefully since, and I can tell they had an incredible time.\n\nA huge shoutout to Tristen, who gave my boyfriend’s German Shepherd, Django, the most flawless exit bath ever! He has sensitive skin, so I requested a medicated shampoo, and not only could I smell it, but his coat was gleaming. As a groomer, I checked him nose to tail, and when I tell you—his nails were perfectly rounded, his coat had zero loose undercoat, and he looked like a show dog. I even heard he fell asleep during the drying process! Tristen, you’ve officially earned a regular client.\n\nTo the entire West LA Dogs team—thank you for loving my boys like your own. You’ve reminded me why I’ve always held WLAD in such high regard.\n\nP.S. to B & V: Always thinking of you both. Grateful for you and the magic you’ve built at WLAD ❤️\n\n— Tri G

This is the best dog care place on the Westside, according to my husky, who refused to return to any of the other spots when we were looking for day care. The staff TRULY are dog whisperers and they are great with humans, too. We’ve been going there 9 years for day care, boarding and grooming. ❤️🥰

West LA dogs is the best place on the west side for dog daycare and boarding! We have been coming here for years and they give me so much confidence in leaving my baby while traveling. They always provide check ins and photos of how she’s doing. Thank you team for taking such good care of us!

We first started taking Duke to West LA Dogs in 2017, before he was diagnosed with epilepsy. They have since become our go to for boarding while I travel as well as daycare when we are in LA. I live in Ontario and have struggle to find a place that would take him in the area due to his “disability,” but the team at West LA has always been so helpful and supportive. On top of that, they are always responsive and quick to send updates on how he is doing. My mind is at ease knowing that he is in excellent caring hands with them! I highly recommend them with your dogs’ needs!

Our large golden doodle has just recently started going to day care for 1/2 days. He comes home happy and tired. Staff is friendly and the price is right.
