I took my puppy to Alessandro for the first time last week, and Pumpkin was returned to me with a cut on his lip and a massive open wound on near his hindquarters. It was bleeding profusely when I picked him up. It was so deep that it was getting infected within a day, and the vet needed to put him under in order to administer stitches. To his credit, Alessandro was extremely apologetic. He refunded my money and immediately paid for the entire $770 vet bill. Nevertheless I've never heard of a dog getting hurt this badly from a groomer.

So happy I found Alessandro. I have taken my Cavalier to many groomers, and prior to Alessandro, I had only found one that I really thought was great (in Austin, TX). Cavaliers have infamously difficult paws to cut, and he did them exactly how I wanted.

Luna and Nori love it here! Alessandro and Lupa are kind, magnificent, compassionate, professional, just great people! My fur babies have lots of fun and look great. I recently took my dog Lola to Alessandro’s Pet Spa on Melrose Ave, and I could not be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, I felt confident she was in good hands. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made sure to go over the services I had requested: a full bath, deshedding treatment, haircut, nail trim, and anal gland expression. They listened carefully to my concerns and preferences, which immediately put me at ease.\n\nWhen I picked Lola up a few hours later, I was blown away by how beautiful she looked. Her coat was soft, shiny, and noticeably lighter after the deshedding. The haircut was perfect—not too short, not uneven, but styled in a way that really brought out her natural features. They also trimmed her nails to a safe and comfortable length, which is something that often gets overlooked at other grooming places. It was clear to me that they paid attention to detail and took pride in their work.\n\nOne of my biggest concerns with grooming is how stressed out Lola might feel during the process. She can be a bit anxious in new environments, and in the past I’ve picked her up from other places only to find her restless, panting, or overwhelmed. This time, she came out calm, happy, and relaxed, wagging her tail and looking proud of herself. That alone speaks volumes about the way Alessandro’s Pet Spa treats the pets in their care. They clearly prioritize not only the quality of grooming but also the emotional well-being of their furry clients.\n\nThe spa itself is clean, organized, and has a calm atmosphere that helps set the tone for a positive visit. The team is professional, kind, and you can tell they genuinely love animals. They didn’t rush through the process, but at the same time, everything was done in a timely manner, so I wasn’t left waiting longer than necessary.\n\nOverall, my experience at Alessandro’s Pet Spa was nothing short of excellent. Lola looked and felt amazing, and I could tell she had a positive experience throughout. I truly appreciate the level of care, attention, and professionalism this team brings to their work. I would highly recommend Alessandro’s to any pet owner looking for a trustworthy, skilled, and compassionate grooming service. We’ll definitely be returning for all of Lola’s grooming needs.

Today was the first time that I’ve visited Alessandro’s Pet Spa after trying other WeHo groomers. Not only were the staff and owner extremely easy to communicate with over the phone, they adjusted my appointment from one cat to both of my cats (one under the age of 1) same day.\n\nMy cats look and smell amazing, and the service was completed in less than 5hrs. I will be coming back— amazing prices as well.\n\nThank you Alessandro!
