We are so lucky to have such a gem of a pet store right here in the West Seattle Junction. We just got kittens for the first time so we needed some supplies and found the selection and service at Next-To-Nature exemplary. We will be back!

This place is great! Huge selection of food, treats, toys, and general pet care supplies. Not only that, but their employees are lovely too! I went in looking for “fishy flakes” (dried fish flakes) for my cats, and although they were sold out, one of the employees generously supplied me with a free small ziplock bag of them which came from their secret supply they keep on hand for their shop cat, Dot.\n\nThis small act of generosity really meant a lot, and I will be happy to continue shopping at this store :) Thank you Dot and Next-to-Nature Pet Markets! I love next to nature! I feel like I'm part of a sweet pet owners community there. People recognize me, it's clearly a small business, and it's a pleasant space to be in. They also have a pet friendly bar connected?? I get everything for my rabbits from here. The store is well organized and they just renovated to expand the space; the small pet section is larger which I'm very happy about!

We and our two dogs love this neighborhood store. Everyone is super helpful but Avery in particular is so nice! He made our two dogs feel like queens and chatted with them like they were little kids 🤣\n\nHe also helped us find a few things we were looking for! Five stars to the store and a bonus point to Avery.

Based on my experience here, the store was neat and well organized. It had a pleasant, calm environment and I enjoyed looking at their items. The prices on certain products were a bit much compared to other retailers. The customer service I received was fine, and no issues occurred. I would recommend and would return.
