A Clip Above

Full transparency- I deleted my previous review.\nI had some pricing issues a couple years back, and it steered me away from returning. I tried out a couple of other shops, but I have landed back at A Clip Above for the last several months. My dog always looks incredible after a groom here and the staff is extremely nice.\nWhen I was dealing with the pricing issues years back, the owner was reasonable and respectful, and for that, they deserve a 5 star review!

We’ve been going to A Clip Above for years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service and the care they provide for our dog. She always comes home looking amazing and smelling like flowers. The groomers are excellent at making her feel comfortable, and the staff communicates really well—both with appointment reminders and updates on her grooming status. We trust them completely and highly recommend A Clip Above to anyone looking for exceptional grooming and genuine care for their pet.

I’ve been bringing my dogs to A Clip Above for over two years now, off and on. I am obsessed. They are my favorite and I have always had the best experiences with all of my dogs.\n\nWhen my Mini Aussie turned 1, I wanted something special. I requested little feathers and OMG SO CUTE!\n\nI had the same Mini Aussie and my Basset/chow groomed before my wedding and they were beautiful. So clean and fresh for my big day.\n\nThe environment is luxurious and professional. It doesn’t feel like a kennel. They also sell dog enrichment, which I love.\n\nHighly recommend!!

My fur baby aka"Smoky" was so excited to see Andrew for the 2nd time. Andrew has a gentleness about himself that made Smoky exceptionally comfortable. Smoky haircut was also amazing. Smoky is a 7 month old Labradoodle and full of energy, which I was impressed that Andrew was able to handle his high energy. I look forward to our next visit. I have also referred Andrew to two other people.

My goldendoodle, Alfie, and I love this place! Tricia is very well versed in the poodle world because she knew exactly what I wanted my pup to look like without me even telling her as a first time pet owner. I love whatever scent he leaves with and how long it lasts. Unfortunately we’ve had bad experiences in the past elsewhere so I am more than happy to make the drive here. He looks like he hates me in the pic but I swear he’s happy 😂
