I brought my dogs in here many times. My husband dropped off the dogs today and said do the usual. I also called and left a voicemail telling her specifically what to do. She then neglected to shave one of the dogs, blaming it on my husband. She said just because I called, doesn't mean she listens to her phone. She called me to pick them up at 1:15 pm when she closes at 4. She refused to shave the dog with hours left in the day! Completely unreliable and also very rude. Don't waste your time.

5 Star Groomer!!! Wonderful woman! Janine has groomed my 8 Shetland Sheepdogs and 1 Dauchund since 1990! They all loved her, we're groomed perfectly according to AKC standards. She even called her own Animal Drs to help me with several serious medical conditions. Yes she speaks up if you ask for something on your dogs visit that she believes is not educated, but she knows so much more than average groomers because she's been in the dog business her entire life, travelling to dog shows, AKC breeders friends and judging Collies. She has been so kind to the homeless and I know because they tell me how much she helps them. We recommend her 100 percent if you are a serious dog owner.

I highly suggest this place! My boxer, Jilly Bean, is very skiddish and I have tried several different places, but I would either get a call to come pick her up or she was more traumatized after the grooming. This is the only place I feel comfortable leaving her to get groomed. They are gentle and very patient with her. When I pick her up, she is happy and well groomed!

On the first visit with my rough collie, Janine was a little too forceful when pulling Prince into her shop. The grooming result, however, was quite good. The only problem was he couldn't easily stand up for two days following the three hour grooming session.\n\nOn the second visit, yesterday, I asked if she could give him five minute breaks per hour so he wouldn't end up so stiff.\n\nInstead of a reasoned response I got an unreasonably high level of defensiveness, challenges to my ability to "hear her," and the threat of simply refusing to give him a grooming.\n\nThis was rather shocking and certainly uncalled for. But we came to terms and Prince stayed to be groomed. Until five minutes later.\n\nI had left the shop and was driving into the city when Janine called to say she couldn't do it and to come pick up the dog. It "didn't feel right" she said.\n\nI traveled from Oceanside to Point Loma for this service, and was shut down on a whim.

Very mean disrespectful lady runs this place. She walked out of her shop across the street and a few business down to get into my face and yell at me for doing my job charging and dropping off bird scooters. Apparently she does not like them on the sidewalks. After explaining to her I’m doing my job and I can’t change anything the company should be contacted she kept yelling at me.\n\nShe went back into her business came out a few minutes later to write my license plate down haha she was so rude and irrational it’s 6:00am by the way...she went way out of her way to be as rude as possible to someone she doesn’t know and is just doing their job that in no way shape or form affects her or her business. I would never walk into her shop and tell her she’s doing her job wrong.\n\nIf you give this person your money don’t expect good things there’s no way that mean and rude of a person can do good business.
