I absolutely loved the care my dog received. I found it extremely refreshing not to be worried about my pet on a vacation or travel. The report card system was absolutely fantastic getting to know how you dog’s day was and the enrichment walks is a must my husky was so excited she almost didn’t want to leave. I can not recommend this place enough.

We’ve been using Paw Commons for years across a few of their San Diego locations, and they’ve consistently been our go-to for our (very) energetic dog, Roscoe.\n\nMost recently, we brought him to the Hillcrest location just for grooming and a nail trim, and as always, the experience was smooth and professional. The team handled him with care and patience, which is no small feat given his personality, and he came back looking great.\n\nWe’ve also trusted Paw Commons with boarding during vacations, and that peace of mind is huge. It’s clear they take the time to understand each dog and make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and well cared for.\n\nWhat really stands out is the consistency across locations and over time. No matter which Paw Commons we’ve visited, the staff has always been thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely caring.\n\nHighly recommend to anyone looking for a place they can trust with their dog, whether it’s for grooming, daycare, or boarding.

Paw Commons in Hillcrest has an amazing staff that truly cares about their fur kids! Coco had her trial day today, and the team kept me informed throughout the day with updates and pictures, which gave me so much peace of mind.\n\nMy dogs Clara, Clover, and now Coco all love coming here. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares for each dog and works hard to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I highly recommend Paw Commons to anyone looking for a daycare or boarding with caring people and excellent communication!

Ok, so like, I was totally in the market for a new groomer, since my dog has too much of a winning personality and was banned from three petcos that are in wonderful commuting distances from my apartment. I felt lost and confused, like this situation was sooo not 6-7, and there was a high lack of riz. So, I took to the Google machine and found Paw Commons - Hillcrest! The entire process was easy. And when it was time to drop off my dog, I stared into the employees eyes, and asked them, are you totes ready for the time of your life? And they said, yes - with total confidence. My canine stylist, Janetta, is obviously very good with dogs that hate being clean. Thanks Janetta for making dreams come true!

I really am impressed with Paw Commons. My daughter and her dog and also my two dogs have used the Hillcrest location for a few years. It is clean, straightforward, respectful, and the staff seems to really love the animals. When the babies were in daycare we regularly used their cameras to see how they were doing. There seemed to be someone out in the kennel area with them interacting positively with them most of the time.\n\nOur groomer Cassie is awesome. Quite busy, but so worth the wait. I’ve found it much easier to just schedule our groomings before we leave. This way I stay on top of it (their hair grows fast and mats easily) and I don’t have to wait for Cassie either. For two dogs I paid around $100 each and gave a\n$30 tip for both. Yes it is expensive, but what isn’t these days. I’ve also groomed them myself many times and my back hurts for a week when I’m done.\n\nI definitely recommend them and wouldn’t hesitate to take an animal there for boarding, daycare, or grooming. 💕
