What pet parents say

We cannot recommend Eileen enough! We’ve been working with her to train our 11-month-old corgi, Merlin, and we’ve seen such a huge shift in his behavior. Merlin is a sweet but anxious boy, and Eileen’s positive reinforcement training was exactly what he needed.\n\nShe was particularly helpful in addressing his resource guarding of puzzles. She gave us a straightforward training protocol that helped us build trust with Merlin and get rid of the guarding issues. Seeing Merlin’s progress and growing confidence has been so rewarding. Eileen is simply the best!

If you're looking for a trainer and have found Eileen, book the training session!\n\nMy dog, Murphy, has been going through a challenging phase as she's entered her "teenage" years. I noticed she was becoming hesitant and fearful in situations that she's encountered before, along with being easily distracted on walks. My goal was to ensure she remained confident as she transitioned into adulthood.\n\nI was initially hesitant to book a training session via Zoom, skeptical about how much guidance I would be able to receive through a call. I was surprised to find out that Eileen can, and does, learn a ton about your dog through this session. She asked insightful questions to learn about Murphy's personality, and really listened to my concerns. She provided practical tips that I could implement immediately, which led to noticeable improvement in Murphy's behavior within days.\n\nI decided to move forward and book in person sessions, and I'm so glad I did. Eileen is not only a pleasure to be around, she's patient and incredibly knowledgeable. Over the course of the last month, in just a few sessions with her (and many hours of Murphy and I implementing her guidance), I'm consistently seeing an upward trend in desirable behaviors from Murphy with her confidence returning.\n\nEileen was also a huge help in furthering my understanding of Murphy's hip dysplasia, recommending gentler, low-impact activities that would keep Murphy engaged while not putting too much stress on her joints.\n\nIf you're looking for a dedicated trainer who truly cares about dogs and their well-being, Eileen is the one to call. Thank you, Eileen, for everything you do!

We have been working Eileen for almost 2 years now and I cannot say enough good things about her. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone as dedicated to your pets as she is.\n\nWe brought our dog to Eileen to work on his leash reactivity. She taught us ways we could deal with it using positive reinforcement that have proven effective. She also made the connection between his digestive issues and his behavior. We had worked with a few other trainers previously and no one else had brought that to our attention. She helped us understand how much his general health influences his behavior. I suppose if I had diarrhea all the time I would be grumpy too.\n\nThis is one thing that I really appreciate and must emphasize- she looks at your pet’s well-being broadly and holistically. She keeps current not only on training methods, but on what the latest science tells us about or dogs mentally and physically. Generally you will find trainers who focus on training, and vets who focus on specific medical issues. Eileen is a problem solver who is able to bridge the gap. I also want to commend her for attention to detail. When you meet her for a second time she will remember what occurred in your first session. She is also very good at following up and checking in on your dog. Don’t hesitate to contact her!

We adopted a new dog who we found out had some resource guarding and stranger danger issues, making it tough to introduce her to new people and even led to her biting us. We found Eileen through our vet and in just 10 sessions and diligent work at home doing the exercises she taught us, we have a whole new dog. Eileen is professional, kind, and (of course) incredible with our dog. I recommend her to anyone who needs some help with their new furry friend and is willing to put in the work!

I'm extremely grateful for all the help that Eileen offered in training my Vizsla puppy, Beau. Her expertise and commitment to him really shined through. She even caught a couple of health issues that his regular vet had missed, so I can't recommend her enough. She really is great.
