I highly recommend Heidi. She absolutely changed our family life for the better when we got our 8-month-old puppy. We chose the Progressive Package, and it was perfect for our situation. She’s great with dogs and also does an excellent job teaching people straightforward, effective training skills that are easy to use in daily life. She’s also incredibly dependable, which really made an impression on me. Definitely 5 stars.

Heidi from True Bond Canine has been the lifeline that we needed. We have a very challenging rescue dog, Gemma. Heidi has employed techniques for us to use to help tamp down mild aggression and anxiety that consumes Gemma at times and can manifest into destructive behavior. Heidi is so easy to work with and is totally accessible for questions, concerns and help. Her training methods work! After 5 sessions and consistent training, the difference in our dog(s) is noticeable. I can’t recommend Heidi and True Bond Canine enough. If you have a challenging dog or if you want to have a stronger bond with your best friend, call Heidi our furry family members are worth It!

Heidi helped me so much when my two little shih'tzu pups started up with barking and reactivity around the neighborhood. She helped me with strategies to manage and prevent the behaviors and they have improved so much since working with her. Not only is she really knowledgeable about dog behaviors, how to train and what works, but it is clear how much Heidi loves dogs. Both my pups absolutely adore her. I would recommend True Bond to anyone in the Portland area looking for a dog trainer. Don't hesitate!

Honestly, I was shocked at how quickly we saw results once I started implementing what Heidi recommended.\n\nWhat I appreciate most about Heidi is how thorough she is. She doesn’t expect you to remember every detail in the moment - her follow-up notes and reminders made it so much easier to keep practicing on my own. Heidi is the best dog trainer I’ve ever met. When our daughter got pregnant we hired Heidi to work with our daughter’s quite difficult Beagle mix Max, who just wouldn’t stop barking. He was a terror with guests and everyone was worried what would happen when the baby came. After only three lessons Max now greets visitors at the door, then immediately goes to his bed to sit down. Not a peep! What’s even more remarkable is that Max has now accepted our granddaughter as a treasured member of the family. Max actually sleeps under her crib! He’s a dog transformed and it’s all due to Heidi. Five stars!
