What pet parents say

Our dog, Azuki, was very nervous, reactive, and she couldn't stop barking. We sent her to a three week board and train and we are sooo happy with the results! We've had our dog back for almost a week and she is so noticeably improved. We're implementing the lessons she learned at "camp" at home and we are breezing through training, since there was such a strong foundation applied at Curated Canines. One of the most important things to me was how Azuki looooved her main trainer, Meredith. She gives Meredith so much love and affection when she sees her - you can tell this team really puts their heart and soul into training. This is an incredible program and I can't recommend it enough for all the nervous dogs who need some extra confidence!

Curated Canines changed our relationship with our dog. Our high energy Irish Setter puppy had us in over our heads, he needed a level of exercise we couldn’t achieve due to him being flighty and prey driven. Clover came back from his board and train reliable and responsive. We get to enjoy off leash adventures and his quality of life is amazing. We got detailed update videos on his progress during his stay and the follow up visits helped us feel confident in applying his new skills at home. Kylah made us feel like she really cares for Clover and curating his behaviors to our family needs.

We are so thankful for Kylah and the Curated Canine team – they have transformed our relationship with our dog, Burger. From our first meet and greet with Kylah, she understood the needs of Burger and was very excited to work with him. Thanks to their board and train program, our communication with Burger is clearer and more consistent, allowing us to manage his high drive energy and anxieties both inside and outside the house. We have greater confidence in Burger's ability to handle different situations and trust him more. Kylah provided pictures and detailed updates of Burger's progress during the three-week board and train program. Kylah is always available to answer any questions we have and has shown she truly cares about Burger’s progress. We cannot recommend them enough!

06/2025 I want to update this because we got a new puppy and went through puppy training with Curated Canines again. I cannot recommend them enough!!!! Our puppy is fun and cute and just a little mischievous, so curated canines helped us lean into her big personality and teach her skills to keep her safe. After two weeks of boosted and train, she is less reactive with other dogs, walks incredibly well on a leash, and listens to over 5 commands. We will use curated canines for every dog we got!\n—\nBest training program in the Portland area! I can’t recommend this place enough. Meredith and Kylah are so good at their jobs. You can tell they eat sleep and breathe dog training. Our little guy went into the board and train program as a pretty anxious dude after surviving a traumatic car accident. He emerged a new dog. He is so confident and sure of himself now and trusts us to guide him. We love the hybrid style of training because we were able to train our pup in environments that he frequents. We can’t thank CC enough and are excited to use them for all dogs we have in the future. I attached photos of him heeling in public, on “place” at home, and not chasing the cat! Worth every penny!!!!

Wow where do I even begin! Curated Canines are the best trainers in PDX!! I have a 1.5 year old Bernese Mountain dog, Cliff, who is the light of my life. He is silly, sweet and playful to a fault… key word here being playful. We struggled with recall, leash skills & excited greetings with both humans and fur friends. We wanted to be able to take him anywhere with us but even a simple walk would lead to frustration for me and less outdoor play for him. I wanted more for our goofball.\n\nCurated Canines was recommended to us from a close friend who had a wonderful experience with them. And they did not disappoint!! Meredith & Kylah are incredibly knowledgeable in all things dogs (also two of the kindest people you will meet!). They have a fantastic program where training takes place out of the comfort of their beautiful home. Cliff was welcomed in like he was one of their own. Leaving him for 3 weeks was incredibly hard, but they were fantastic about giving updates. I could tell the deep connection they made with him. Truly heartwarming!\n\nNow we are all living our best life! We enjoy daily off-leash walks, romps in the park with perfect recall, and endless adventures knowing the knowledge he gained at Curated Canines will help us along the way. Meredith- you gave us our life back! You treated our boy like he was yours and set him up for success. I will NEVER stop recommending you ladies!!
