Adding to the chorus of well earned 5-star reviews… We are so happy to have found Barks ‘N Rec!! We adopted a pup over the summer and were concerned about her ability to socialize during the day and get enough of her puppy energy out, especially with my wife and I working and the kids at school. Enter Barks ‘N Rec to save the day!\n\nThe staff is all warm and lovely, and you immediately get the sense your dog will be in great hands. And it’s beyond just pleasantries… You can tell people there truly care about the dogs. Like, they literally feed our dog by hand when she’s not interested in her food in the bowl, just to ensure she’s getting in enough calories in to offset all the play there.\n\nAnd as an over the top little touch, during the holidays our dog received two super sweet handwritten cards from the staff, a new Kong stuffy, and even same great looking homemade treats (special shout-out to Veronica for those)!\n\nIn addition to lots of daycare, we boarded her for a week over the holidays and that went great as well. It was nice knowing she’d get to enjoy her regular daycare routine during the day and another above and beyond is that they washed & dried her stuff before giving it back to us.\n\nLastly, we appreciate that daycare hours are long and flexible, with weekday pickup as late as 9pm, and that they offer many different packages so you can pick something that works best for your budget and needs. In summary, I wouldn’t hesitate if you’re considering Barks for your pooch!

I have been taking my 2-year old cattle dog, Buffy, to BarksN’Rec for almost 2 years now and it is her favorite place in the world! When get there she’s always running to the door! She loves the staff, who are all dedicated, kind, and professional. They are true dog lovers who go above and beyond. I trust BarksNRec with my loved one and know they are providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for her each time she’s with them. We have done boarding many times and are in daycare several times a week. I have signed her up for enrichment, walks, and play and train—all great services that she loves to do and they tire out her endless energy. She has made so many good dog friends as well, I love getting the photos in my daily update and seeing what antics she’s gotten into. I simply could not recommend this place more, they’ll treat your pup like family!

Kona seems to love it here! They’ve been great about sending photos at the end of or the next day after a daycare session. The cameras are great, but I haven’t been able to view them from my phone anymore, but they work when I view from my laptop. A little unfortunate since I’m not always at my desk on the days I need him at daycare, and I’d love to see him from my phone, but I’ll check in and see if there’s a way I can get visibility on the app instead.\n\nOverall, we love it, can’t wait for the outdoor space to be available.

Our puppy, Sinatra, stayed at PLAY! at Barks N’ Rec for a 3-week boarding, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly kind, loving, and attentive, which made us feel comfortable leaving her for such a long stay. We received daily photos and videos, plus access to the pup cam during the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. The entire team showed true compassion and ensured she was well cared for every step of the way. We’re so happy with the care Sinatra received that we’ll now be bringing her for daycare on a weekly basis. Highly recommend!

My pup absolutely loves this place! We could not be more grateful that is exists as our pup is tired out and so happy at the end of the day. The staff is wonderful and you know you are in good hands there. Can't recommend it enough!
