Scenthound Chicago Oldtown

Took my son’s dog for a trial dog wash in April ‘25. I informed them that I was dog sitting. As Scenthound attempt to push a membership on me, I reminded them that I was only interested in the trial because the dog doesn’t live with me.\nScenthound has charged by bank card $49 since May ‘25 for a membership. I spoke to a male employee Tuesday 11.4.25, who took my info and stated that he was forwarding it to management. I was supposed to to receive a follow-up call Tuesday afternoon regarding: the monthly membership charges. The employee checked my account and verified that I had not used any services since the trial dog wash. To make matters worse I have been calling during their alleged business, left CK’s and even forwarded two detailed email messages on their website within any reply. It’s like they ghosted me. I am sitting in front of their store in Old Town-Chicago, during business hours and no one is in the store. A closed sign is in the window.\nI would like to know who I can contact to report this store. I WOULD NOT PATRONIZE THIS STORE AS I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED FOR $350.\n\nPlease advise of next steps that I need to take.\n\nDisgruntled and FRUSTRATED!

Quick, friendly & efficient services! Before finding scenthound I had never done professional grooming for my dog- safe to say having someone else do the job will be our new norm. My favorite part is the hygiene/basic health report card they give you upon pick up. I have always known my pittie had seasonal allergies in regards to her coat and last week the front desk gave us some helpful tips I hadn’t thought of before!\n\nWe are now a few services in and might take advantage of the membership soon. The oatmeal shampoo smells soo good!

Tiny which is a Shih Tzu. She don’t warm up easy to everyone and I seen a poster and advertisement on FB for Scenthound. I said let me try them cause the older she get its harder to get her comfortable enough to let someone cut and bath her. She would always get nick in the face when they would cut her. I don’t have that issue with her at all now. Thanks to Scenthound

My pup smells and looks so clean!!! The staff are super friendly. $39 for a bath, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail clip. All services were done well and you can’t beat the price. I will be a returning customer!

had a confirmed appointment at 2 pm on a sunday. confirmed the appt via text as well the day before. when we arrived, the door was locked, there was a closed sign on the door (despite hours being listed until 6pm and having a confirmed 2pm appointment), and we couldn’t get anyone on the phone. This was supposed to be our first visit with them. can’t necessarily say I want to reschedule.
