I have been coming here for the past 2 years, and this place has ALWAYS been a hit or miss for me. Each time I came in and told them what I wanted, some days they are right on it and others it's not at all what I've asked for and I chose not to make a big deal of it because it's fur, it'll grow back. Though, this time I sent in my father to take in my dog for his appointment and I texted him exactly what photo to show them, along with a text that specified exactly how I wanted my dogs haircut. (mind you, I went over this plenty of times with my father so he wouldn't get it wrong to avoid this from happening, english isn't his first language) . I didn't at all get what I asked for, yet again. I went to the shop and told them and they are telling me that the picture was seen but are not clarifying whether or not they saw the message (which was hard to miss considering it was attached to the bottom of the picture) I asked to speak to the person who spoke to my father and they refused to come out and speak to me. I asked her point blank , "did she see the message or not?" because the message clearly states TWICE not to touch his body hair , at minimum a trim, and Gayle didn't respond with a yes or no. So clearly she doesn't care what I have to say and/or how I feel very disappointed and was making it seem like it was my fault that I did do more to clarify this to them. At top of that, they're basically accusing my father of being a liar. Maybe the message was seen and they forgot but there should've been more accountability on their end. Also, my dog has a CUT from how short they went, which clearly wouldn't have happened had they not gone that short. In the screenshot, I also mention to cut his nails (this is not included in their services and it's something you have to ask for) I know this because anytime I forget to mention to cut his nails they don't do it. My dog's nails WERE cut this time because it states it in the message and I made no mention of it to my father so therefore it means it was read.. I've been told from many people to go to another groomer but because I kept giving chances I had to learn the hard way. Safe to say I will not return.

We have been taking our two mini-Goldendoodles here since their first puppy cuts. They do an excellent job grooming our dogs, are reasonably priced, and don't keep the dogs for an unreasonable length of time. We have been 100% satisfied with their work.

The staff was awesome handling our 1 year old pup Autumn. This was her first “spa” experience. She is a nervous dog being she’s a rescue and the treated her like royalty. The pup was happy(though she hates her nails being trimmed ,Gayle and the staff did their best) and I was happy with how clean and dapper she looked and smelled. We will be going back on a regular basis.

Brought in Bailey who was full of knots. They did a fantastic job! The next week I brought Teddy in who's a bit nervous. The young lady in front was very patient with him. Both dogs came out happy and looking great! Highly recommend!

I previously had a worrisome experience at another groomer. I decided to try Midwest Canine Choppers a few months back for the first time due to the great reviews I received from family and friends. This is now my second time seeking services with Midwest, as they have shown to do a wonderful job with my dog ♥️ He is a wiggler for sure and they never push him past his comfort zone. His temperament has not changed once like with the other facility I utilized previously. They always say “it’s not perfect” when he gets picked up, but I would honestly consider his grooming a perfect job. Thank you so greatly for your kindness and patience in the services that you provide. If anyone is worried as I was after having a negative experience elsewhere, this establishment is wonderful!
