This store is disgusting. I have mentioned this almost every time I come in here to a manager. It’s the closest one to me - is why I come in for grooming mostly. Today someone knowingly left crap on the floor and put a “caution sign” over it vs. picking it up. That’s not only potentially a health hazard but HAVE SOME PRIDE. Literally, every other PetSmart I’ve ever been in is better than this one. I’m gonna have to rethink my pet supplies and needs. I’m over it.

Had a terrible experience here when i came to get my puppy groomed. My groomer was 30 minutes late and spent over 5 hours on my puppy. My puppy was waiting and unable to eat this entire time. Mind you, I asked for a very basic grooming package that should never take close to 3 hours never mind 5 hours.\n\nThe grooming staff never gave any update on my puppy or that it would take over 2 hours past the maximum allotted time for the service. When I got to the store after 3 hours I was told it would take one more hour but ended up taking 2 more. I spoke to the manager and she offered me a 20% discount which is nice but realistically she should have made this service free if she really felt bad. I also want to note I never asked for a financial refund. I also informed her that her groomers were on their personal phones and provided her with a photo of it as proof. How is it possible to not only be so far behind on schedule and still have time to be on your personal phones doing no work while some puppies have been there for nearly 5 hours at that point? It’s absolutely disgusting.\n\nWhen I finally got my puppy his tail was not even touched but at that point I just wanted to leave. I am not sure where the root to the problem is but something needs to change. I simply hope this doesn’t happen to another puppy because over 5 hours for a basic grooming service is borderline animal cruelty.

my experience every time I go to PetSmart on Roosevelt and Canal is that they have excellent customer service And someone is always around to help you with an item if you can’t find it yourself and I really love the Groomers. They ask you questions about your dog or habits and everything. They really want to get to know their client so I do give it five stars because they truly do deserve it and I want to thank ERICA my groomer because she does a magnificent job on my Pomeranian Lovie. Thank you.

Underserved and overpriced. This was my first time booking an appointment for grooming for my cat. As I arrived and was met at the front counter for my cat's turn, we chose the #5 trim. Our showed us what the previous customers would choose for their cat's trim, which was the LION CUT. (Name of the groomer will not be named for privacy) There was no initial agreement for OUR cat to receive that specific trim as the discussion was about what OTHER customers would usually choose. The price was set at $113 and was expecting the trim to be the entire body but since there was miscommunication, this resulted in a lion cut. I thought things weren't bewildering enough. I came back home and noticed that near my cat's GENITAL area was shaved, exposing the SKIN. The amount of fur that was shaved from the genital to almost the bottom of his stomach area was about 4-5 inches. This was NOT discussed and was NOT consented. All that was discussed was the price, cuts customers usually choose for THEIR cats, signature, what my cat is familiar with when coming to grooming, and how the service would be stopped if there was anything apposing as stress for my cat. Something that was also discussed was how the trim would result in uneven trims. The fur was not uneven, it was BOTCHED. Again, I am still SO confused on how we discussed the #5 trim on the cat, but somehow my cat's genital area to his stomach basically was honestly trimmed like a #10... And where his upper stomach wasn't even TOUCHED. To make it worse, its wasn't even a #10, it was just exposing his entire skin at this point. I would never book an appointment here again. Sad thing is, my money cannot be refunded and from the other reviews, it seems like they have the same experience. FUNNY ENOUGH THE OWNER ONLY RESPONDS AND APPLAUDS 4-5 REVIEWS INSTEAD OF TAKING THE CONSIDERATION OF THE CUSTOMERS WITH LOWER RATINGS... As I mentioned, this is why it was underserved and overpriced. If you think about bringing any pet for grooming, don't, what a joke.
