I brought my miniature schnauzer, Chip, here for a haircut and we both couldn't be happier. He does not tolerate the noise and impatience of various groomers he has gone to over the years. I was so glad to find out about Balanced Paws and thought I'd give them a try. Kate is a holistic groomer and was kind and compassionate. She took extra time with him and did not hurry. She also figured out his stress triggers (mainly his anticipation of having his fur pulled) and was able to communicate with him so he wasn't scared. It was just Chip and Kate, and she was extremely gentle with him. This was the very best haircut he has had and better than any other haircuts for my two other schnauzers we've had these past 30 years. I am happy to spread the word and sincerely hope I can find a holistic groomer just like Kate when we move out of state next month. Thank you for your kindness and professional care of our sweet Chippy!

Kate is an awesome holistic groomer! What does that mean? She does not just make your pet pretty on the outside, she can counsel you on natural nutrition and how to make your pet pretty and healthy from the inside out! As a holistic veterinarian, I can refer my pet patients to Kate with confidence! And my pets think she is pretty awesome too!

I’m absolutely amazed on how my fur baby was groomed today!!! I was in tears on how adorable she looks (tears after I left) I moved here 1.5 months ago and did a lot of research. I noticed that people drive from cities more than 30 minutes away just to take their babies to Balanced Paws. I moved here from CA and gave her a picture of my baby and she CRUSHED THAT PIC!! So much better ❤️❤️!!!

Thank you ladies for always taking good care of Balls and Ollie. My dogs are always in rough shape when I bring them to you and you always work your magic! I hope I find a groomer in Oregon that will take awesome care of my little guy. Thanks again.
