My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Thank you to all the women who care for my pup while I’m unable to do so - you are such a huge and great part of Lou’s life!

I have been taking my pup to Doggie Goddess for years now - daycare and boarding. I would not trust anyone other than Traci and her team to watch my dog, and we have followed her to multiple different locations. I know he is being taken care of as well as I take care of him. He comes home exhaused and happy. Doggie Goddess is the best.

Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10

I really wanted to like this place. The price is right and their regulars seem to love them, but I've had a string of communication failures with the staff that have soured me on it.\n\n* The first time I dropped my dogs off, I asked about a live video feed so we could keep an eye on them during the day. I was told they don't offer that here. Apparently, they _do_ post photo updates to Instagram like a dozen times a day, but the person I was speaking to did not mention that, I didn't see it posted anywhere in the lobby.\n\nI only found out days after our third (and final) visit, because I had a bunch of follow-up questions after being told my dogs were too anxious to be invited back unless we became regulars. (Fair enough, kudos to them for watching out for their existing clientele—but why IG over a live video feed? I'd rather the staff were focused on the dogs than taking time out to manage socials.)\n\n* We've sent a couple messages asking for specifics about the services they offer (like walking/bathing), which went completely unanswered in a sea of otherwise normal text correspondence (see screenshots).\n\n* Prior to our second daycare visit, they asked us to bring the dogs in for another evaluation, since it had been so long since their first. They asked us to schedule the evaluation a few days in advance of their visit, since it would be busy—no big deal. This is (roughly) the exchange I had after they completed their evaluation:\n\nSTAFF: We are recommending that prior to your booking on Saturday, you schedule another full day of daycare for them so that they can get acclimated to the pack.\n\nME: Will we have to pay for this extra day of daycare?\n\nSTAFF: Unfortunately yes, since you used up your free day of daycare the first time.\n\nME: And is this a recommendation or a requirement?\n\nSTAFF: Unfortunately, we won't be able to take them on Saturday unless you bring them in prior to then; as you can see, they're pretty anxious right now, and we want to make sure they're getting along and playing well with the pack, so that's why we're recommending they get another day to get to know everyone and get settled in.\n\nME: I see. I just want to double-check, since you keep using the word "recommend." Is this a recommendation, or a requirement?\n\nSTAFF: A requirement, yes.\n\nME: Can you help me understand what difference it makes, whether we bring them in tomorrow for an extra day, or just bring them in on Saturday?\n\nSTAFF: Well, because the first would be daycare, and the second would be boarding.\n\nME: We're not looking for boarding, we just want daycare.\n\nSTAFF: Oh, then that changes everything, forget I said that.\n\n---\n\nOn the whole, I get the sense that they are trying hard and that they care. I'm sure there is a lot to keep up with in a business like this, and if they are falling short on customer communication because they are focused on the pups instead, that's probably better than the reverse. But there's not a lot of visibility into what goes on in there to begin with (IG notwithstanding), so the actual customer-facing side of the experience leaves much to be desired.\n\nAlso, two notes for management, if you're reading this:\n\n* Please, please, please get a sign for the front door and a working intercom / buzzer! It feels like walking into a speakeasy, the way the front lobby's floor-to-ceiling windows are fully blacked out, and you just have to press a Ring doorbell and wait for someone to release the lock on the door (which gives no indication that it's been unlocked and weighs a million pounds, so you kind of just have to keep ringing and yanking on the door until it finally gives).\n\n* Please offer an affordable "potty break" service option. I don't know how you deal with accidents inside the facility, but I'd be happy to pay an extra $5 for my dog to be let out the door onto a patch of grass to pee for twenty seconds. As it stands, the closest thing is $20 for a 15min. walk, which adds up when you've got multiple pups, and is probably part of the reason my dog was still anxious when I picked him up at the end of the day.
