Dog Hair Don’t Care

Yikes! After the 3rd price hike in a year they are now charging an additional 19% per groom. When you book online there is no notice of the fee just a sign when you walk in. As a repeating customer there was also no communication of the change via email or text. For an already overpriced salon this is absurd. They always send emails for referrals giving the new customer deep discount cuts and not once has there been a promotion for an existing customer. I know they are losing customers over this so they will probably increase prices again soon.\n\nThe dog groomers are good which is why I kept coming but this was my last visit.

I will not be bringing my dog to this establishment in the foreseeable future, and I recommend that if you want to have a guilt free experience where the groomer is not pressuring you into doing unnecessary cuts and make you feel like a terrible owner, do not come here. We have brought our dog here twice, and both times have been quite unpleasant. We requested that our dog is not to be shaved, trimmed only in trouble spots. Receiving a phone call blatantly over exaggerating the matting was highly offensive and unprofessional, as the time we put into self-grooming is daily and extensive with the intention for growing his hair out for winter. With great hesitancy, we agreed to allow for a trim with the notion that it would be MINIMAL. He was shaved to the SKIN ON HIS ENTIRE BODY. If you are uncomfortable fulfilling a request, simply refuse to provide service and state your reason. Much more commendable than disrespecting our wishes and diligence that we put in to grooming our dog, all while ensuring that we feel guilty in the process.\n\nOf course, it’s just hair and it’ll grow back. My issue is the principle of disrespecting your clients simply out of laziness or making assumptions that an owner’s pet is not well cared for, when that is the furthest from the truth.

This grooming salon is great! Both of my dogs love coming to see their groomer, Faith. She always does such a fabulous job with my poodle's hair cuts (even though I ask for complicated cuts)! Faith also handles my squirmy lab really well. She is always so gentle and kind with my animals, and I can tell she really cares about her fur clients! 10/10 Will be back again!
