I found Dogtopia because I needed a place to board my puppy while I was traveling. But the real benefit has been weekly daycare. Doggy daycare once a week has done wonders for my anxious rescue puppy. He gained confidence and socialization skills, and he has so much fun! 😃 Main benefits:\n- Exercise off-leash with other friendly dogs.\n- Webcams so you can watch them play.\n- Safe environment with a dog trainer that will prevent or stop any aggressive behavior.\n- Every dog is vaccinated and must pass a behavioral test before being enrolled.\n- Clean rooms that are temperature controlled.\n- Prevents separation anxiety. Instead of leaving my dog at home alone, I drop him off at Dogtopia.\nHighly recommended! 🐶

Very well designed indoor dog facility. Allison referred to the pets as babies and her passion is infectious. The facility offers pet parents a peace of mind with their cool app where we can live stream their play. We are very very happy pet parents!

Dogtopia in Redmond is THE BEST! Honestly, I am not one to leave reviews though I do appreciate good service, but this place has so exceeded expectations that I really think everyone should know about it. I had been bringing my Frenchie to them for only a couple of months when the dog sitter I had set up way in advance for a 16 day international trip, cancelled the day before my flight. Dogtopia swooped in for the rescue. They were able to board her totally last minute. I was a little worried about her being there overnight without staff directly on site, but she was totally fine! Better than fine. I could watch her play everyday and check in on her remotely because of the cameras. My dog absolutely LOVES it here. She runs in without even a backward glance. The coaches are awesome. I see her getting attention all day. But it’s the extra steps that make them exceptional. For instance, I missed my dog’s play date today because I’m sick. Just an easy call and they were able to switch her day to later this week with no problem. A special shout out to Sarah, who is always so warm and caring, and was giving me advice on how to get over this cold too! They care for both the dogs and the dog parents. I highly recommend this place for your dog!

Dogtopia’s Redmond location is a coveted canine daycare spot for a good reason. I recently moved to the Eastside and as I work onsite, I can peacefully drop off my boy here knowing he is in very good hands. All staff have gone above and beyond to accommodate and care for Shiro. And I know this continues through after I’m gone as my boy LOVES greeting them, and has warmed up to them in an amazingly short span of time. The structured care with lunch and nap time has helped regulate my boy even at home. I’m very happy with the service and care provide by the spectacular staff here.

We had an overall negative experience with Dogtopia Redmond for a number of reasons. Management has major issues and the staff turnover rate was insane. During our time here, we saw 4 different managers and numerous personnel changes. The staff was great and very apologetic but they were severely understaffed and overbooked, which leads to dangerous situations. Honestly, we stayed longer than we should have.\n\nSome issues that happened to us:\n- Billing was a nightmare. We were incorrectly charged or overbilled at least 4 or 5 times. Instead of issuing a refund, the owner and/or manager would offer spa credit that could go towards a bath. We still have spa credit left over after we left because staff either forgot or didn't have time to provide the service as scheduled. They will do ANYTHING to avoid refunding you for their mistakes.\n\n- We boarded our dog for one pre-planned weekend trip. Unfortunately she caught a UTI right beforehand and needed to be given antibiotics while we were gone. I called Dogtopia to confirm they could give her her medicine on time and was assured they could - we even considered cancelling our trip because we were worried they would mess it up. When picking her up, we found out they gave her NONE of her antibiotics while we were gone. To say I was livid was an understatement. We had to visit our vet to get her on a different treatment plan because her infection had worsened due to Dogtopia's negligence.\n\n- At the time of our contract renewal, I was charged double the amount as our normal rate. Came to find out that the manager quit right before I submitted my paperwork so in their system they flagged my account as inactive. They claim to have no records of me sending the contract renewal even after I forwarded them my original email that was timestamped appropriately. They refused to refund me the difference and instead gave me useless "spa credit" (see my first point above). Dogtopia penalizes clients for THEIR mistakes and refuse to take responsibility, instead blaming their former manager who left.\n\n- There are tons of horror stories from past staff members - just takes a simple Google search.\n\n- Live feed cameras were either turned off or would buffer so much they were pretty much useless.\n\nI think the owners had good intentions when opening Dogtopia but I would personally NOT recommend any of their locations to other pet parents.
