Serious Concerns Regarding Dog Handling, Staff, and Unprofessional Owner\nI am writing this review as a warning to other dog owners. While our dog, Ellie, had several positive experiences at this day camp in the past, a recent incident revealed a deeply concerning lack of accountability and care from both the staff and the owner.\n\nThe first red flag was during a recent drop-off. A male staff member abruptly and forcefully pulled our dog's leash, dragging her through the front door. This was not a minor mishap; it was a rough and startling action that visibly distressed our dog. When I expressed concern, the employee ignored me and closed the door.\n\nAt pick-up, a different staff member raised the issue of our dog's behavior, and when I brought up the morning incident, she was completely dismissive. She even excused the behavior by saying the employee in question was a manager, implying that his actions were above reproach.\n\nMost disturbingly, when we emailed the owner, Joe, to detail our concerns, his response was unprofessional and hostile. He first claimed that his video footage showed "no mishandling," directly contradicting what we and our dog experienced. He then stated that he "kicked our dog out with the same amount of communication" that he received from us—a clear admission of retaliatory and unprofessional behavior. He ended the email by stating his disinterest in having us as customers and confirmed he would be issuing a refund to a different individual, bringing up unrelated personal details about another customer in an attempt to justify his actions.\n\nThis entire ordeal, from the initial mistreatment of our dog to the shocking and uncaring response from the owner, has made one thing clear: this day camp is not a safe place to leave your pet. The owner's negligence, complete lack of empathy, and hostile reaction to a legitimate customer complaint show that he is more concerned with his own ego than with the well-being of the animals in his care.\n\nI would strongly advise any pet owner to find a facility that values accountability and treats its customers and their pets with respect.

This is Gaige's Disney World! She loves going to Camp Crockett! The staff are so friendly and helpful, they always let me know how her day was and they reach out to me if there are any questions or concerns. I have no problem trusting Camp Crockett with my girl, they are fantastic!

Camp Crockett has been a blessing to our family. We have a very active pug who can't get enough playtime with his buddies. We have boarded a few times over the holidays and I've always received great feedback when I call to check in and that peace of mind is priceless. Also, the owners and staff have been very informative when we have questions about training and resources to use. These are great people to work with.

This place is amazing. Parker loves her time there whether it is daycare or a sleep over. When she gets home she is exhausted! They are all so good to her ❤️

We love Camp Crockett and so does our dog! We have a Labrador who loves to play, and he sprints into Camp Crockett smiling and leaves with an even bigger grin. The team in West Seattle is exceptional and you can tell they truly care about the dogs. I've noticed a few reviews about paws being damaged by the gravel... We've had no issues with this, but we take our dog for regular walks and play outside on all terrains. LET YOUR DOGS PLAY!!!! You will thank yourself for taking your dog to Camp Crockett when they come back happy and tuckered out from play!
