I called in needing a quick support over the phone to triage whether we should bring in our pup or wait until the morning with our own vet. The gentleman on the other side was so so helpful.

I don’t really recommend Urban Animal, unless it’s just for vaccine services. My dog had ongoing skin issues that never improved, and for over a year they kept saying it was just allergies. I eventually sought a second opinion and took her to another vet. After just one visit and blood work, she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, which explains both her skin condition and her weight gain. By the time I switched vets, she had developed a severe skin infection, but thankfully she’s now on medication and improving.\n\nUrban Animal honestly feels very rushed, almost like a fast-food experience (even tho the wait time are long). You go in, they don’t spend much time paying attention to your pet, and then quickly move on to the next patient.

This place is wonderful I couldn't even pay them and had assistance and they were still great to my French bulldog.
