This place is absolutely amazing, followed maps here looking for an emergency hospital for my dog, and while I think it's just a normal vet's office they agreed to help out, and a vet that was heading out for the day stayed to help out my little dude. The staff are just amazingly friendly and the shop clearly cares about the animals in their care. They provided treatment options that so far I believe we're right on the money because within an hour he started showing signs of feeling better. Can't thank them enough, especially for taking a random patient from a visibly stressed out stranger that wandered in basically by accident. Would give them 10 stars if I could. So very much appreciated their help and understanding.

We've been taking our dog here since we moved to Denver about 6 years ago and have always had a good experience. The front staff and vets are all kind and compassionate, and particularly want to recognize Dr.Farnsworth for her care.\n\nOur sweet dog Lily unexpectedly passed away recently and we got a card afterwards with handwritten notes from a lot of the vets and staff that had cared for her, which was a genuine and heartwarming touch.\n\nWould definitely recommend taking your pets here.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dori Calloway and the entire team at VAC Firehouse Animal hospital . From the moment we walked in, I knew my dog was in the best hands. They are compassionate, patient, and truly go above and beyond to make Oreo and I feel comfortable.\nCalloway took the time to explain every step of the process and options in detail, answering all my questions with kindness and genuine care. You can tell they really love animals — my dog Oreo, who’s usually nervous at the vet, was calm and comfortable the whole time!\nThe clinic is spotless, well-organized, and modern, but what really sets them apart is the people. They treat every pet as if it were their own. Whether it’s a routine check-up or an emergency visit, I know I can trust them completely.\nIf you’re looking for a vet who combines professional expertise with a huge heart, look no further than Calloway at VAC. We’re so grateful to have found them — they’ve earned a lifelong client in us! 🐶

***Warning - if you are looking for a vet who will care about you or your dog, look elsewhere***\n\nOur history with VCA began in 2022 when I was recommended to bring my dog to VCA hospitals following adopting him from Foothills Animal Shelter. The shelter itself recommended coming to you, so I did. For the first two years, things were very good. Dr. Longo was always very kind to King and compassionate and treated him like the sweet boy he is.\n\nSince Dr. Longo has left, however, my dog and I have been disrespected and treated like we do not matter by the vets that are employed. We are being gaslit to believe that King has a problem, when meanwhile he is treated aggressively, harshly, and forgettably by the staff.\n\nWe came in today after an appointment two weeks ago where Dr. Wilkins said he would not treat King without any medication, we bought three items per the Dr's request for the follow up appointment we would need to have today. The three items were:\n\n• Acepromazine (gen) 10mg/mL/mL [325.5]: 0.30 mL\n• TraZODone HCL (gen) 100mg Tab [329.465]: 10.00 tab\n• Gabapentin (gen) 300mg Cap [329.311]: 15.00 cap\n\nI administered these items to him last night and this morning creating a very nervous and scared sleepy boy. Today, for our appointment, Dr. Wilkins had no memory of why we had made our appointment or what we needed to do. The staff had on record that he received his Bordetella on 10/29 (he did not, the Dr. determined he could not administer it) and his records were not correct. The Dr. confirmed for the VTs that he did not receive his bordetella on 10/29 but could not come speak with me.\n\nI became emotional in the hospital today. This is not how I want myself or my dog to be treated. We will be finding a new vet. The VTs today agreed that this was a ridiculous situation I was put in - to drug my dog (who had never been drugged before) for an appointment with no agenda.

I have nothing but great things to say about VCA Firehouse and Dr. Jen Roberts. We brought our cat, Manchi, to see her and she handled the entire situation with tranquility and made us feel at peace with the tough decision we needed to make. Thank you so much Dr. Jen, we really appreciated your care and so did Manchi ❤️
