Camp Bow Wow is great! I appreciated their initial application and meet process to determine if it’s a good and safe fit. We’ve been so happy with our experiences with over the past few years. The staff is very nice and professional, love that they have live cameras to check in during the day, and they even have seasonal activities for the dogs.

Love this place, but.....A few things to consider. They have raised their prices a bit so no longer a bargain. The biggest drawback is no outdoor space. So if you are boarding for a bit, know that your dog will never go outside during that time. A bit of a drawback in my opinion, especially since they are no longer inexpensive. The staff is very kind and caring. I have boarded my great dane twice for 5 - 6 days and he always comes home tired out and un-traumatized (good things). They have cameras so you can watch your pet while they are in the common areas during the day. The staff appears respectful and engaged. There is no one on site overnight - so probably approx 12 hours (7P-7A Im guessing)) when animals are unsupervised and kenneled. Something to consider. And one last thing, the way the check out is set up you are prompted to tip, you can pick 18%, 20%, or 25% or Other. As they are standing there waiting both times I have picked up my dog I have felt pressured and hit the 18% and the last time the tip total was $64 (you cannot see the amount until you get the emailed reciept). I really did not feel good about this, I honestly consider that I am paying a large sum to have my animal there and cared for, I really dont expect to have to pay extra for people to do the jobs they are hired for. I suppose I could have tried the Other button and see where that led me but its all quite in the moment and confusing when you are trying to manage a dog that hasnt seen you for days and their supplies, etc. So it ends things on a sour note for me. So just some notes so that you have the whole picture :)

I have two dogs - one who can spend a chunk of time home alone (frankly, he prefers it), and one who absolutely cannot. The latter attends camp here two days a week when I'm in office, and she loves it! I can tell the staff love having her and everyone is so sweet, and I appreciate that when I pick her up I might get a story about the day, or they'll tell me about the other dogs she really likes to play with. Our other dog has attended occasionally when we know we're going to be out for too long during the day, and I think he's warming up to the idea thanks to this group. He used to head in with his tail tucked and spend the day on the sidelines, and now he's starting to play with the others. I feel great about leaving my dogs here when I need to!

Staff was fantastic and friendly and my pup loved them. They didn’t seem to have any safety training though and didn’t seem sure of what to so if there was a dog fight.\n\nIt also smells absolutely horrible and my dog would come back smelling of urine and ammonia. I’ve regularly gone to multiple doggy day care places and this has never been an issue so I’m not sure what’s going on with that? The dogs also seemed incredibly crowded in the rooms and there wasn’t much space for actual play. They all just kind of stood around.

Our dogs love it here ! We always feel confident that they will be safe and happy while we are traveling. Plus when we miss them-its wonderful to be able to see them on the web cams. Thanks for always taking good care of our pups!
