PET CITY GROOMING

We took our dog to this salon today for a haircut. When I saw our Plush, I was very angry. She cut her hair terribly, not exactly. Now I can't tie her tails because there isn't enough length. From a beautiful well-groomed dog, they turned it into a monster. And yet, the record was at 10 am, and we took the dog at 13.35. In my opinion, this is too long for a Yorkie haircut. I don't recommend this salon to anyone.

We've been bringing our cat here for a few years after learning about them from a friend who has been a customer for even longer than us!\n\nThe whole staff is inviting and very caring towards the animals and owners experience. Jason is a wonderful cat groomer and so patient, even if our cat is having a tough day.\n\nPrices are competitive and the location is always cleanly.

I took my dog there for a hair cut bath yesterday. They called me two hours later that he is acting out and they couldn’t finish the job. They asked me to go in and help them with holding him. I went in and tried to help them. Let me point out that this had not ever happened before. He has been in several salons and this is the first time. After i went and helped them finish the job, I realized they had done a crappie job cutting his hair. They shave lines didn’t match and he had different hair lengths with different patches all over his body.\n\nNow the worst part is that he never pees inside. In the past 36 hours since his haircut, he has peed twice inside and does not act like himself.\n\nI hope they start paying attention to the pets that go there but one thing is for sure. I will never ever fo back!

I have taken my dogs, large and small to Pet City Grooming for years. Two dogs, Jenny, a black lab, and Chimale, a carrin terrier, both rescues had severe anxiety issues with water. Over time, with regular visits, they both got used to being groomed and created a special bond with Pet City Grooming owners and staff.\n\nI have two others small mixed dogs, under 10 pounds, who are easy to wash and groom and who have very fast growing nails. Staff at Pet Grooming City explained that my dogs nails were brittle and couldn't be cut because their nails could split and become very painful. Pet Grooming City always has taken the time to grind and file their nails.\n\nWith each visit my dogs have been treated with respect and care. They always look, feel and smell great afterwards.\n\nPet Grooming City has always accommodated my difficult schedule.\n\nThey have always been attentive to the special needs of my dogs, professional, patient and kind.\n\nDuring the Pandemic stay-at-home period, Pet Grooming City was not open. My dogs nails got really long. I took them to a vet. This vet cut their nails. They split and bled and I could tell it was painful.\n\nI am so grateful Pet Grooming City is open now.\n\nToday, I was able to get an appointment for my dogs, with only 1- hour notice. They fit my dogs in their booked schedule. Still here they accommodate my dogs. Unbelievably kind and caring.\n\nI am also grateful they are practicing proper protocols, because it is important that everyone, including pets, stay safe until this Pandemic is under control.\n\nMy experience with groomers is that It doesn't always work out. It takes time to find the right groomer that both you and your dogs can trust just as it takes time to find the the right stylist.\n\nJenny & Chimale were two very, very, very nervous and difficult dogs to groom. Because of my experiences with other groomers, a friend referred me to Jason. Jason had a reputation for working successfully with high anxiety dogs.I don't know how, but, Jason has a special talent, not normally seen by many groomers.\n\nWhen Jason opened Pet Grooming City in Culver City, I couldn't get in fast enough. At first, I would only allow Jason to touch my dogs. Over time he worked with staff so that any groomer in his store could work with my dogs. I am happy to say that all of his staff, to date, at Pet Grooming City, who have tended to my dogs have done excellent jobs and our experiences have been positive.\n\nRelationships and trust need to be developed. Finding a groomer who you can trust and who your dogs can bond with, is not as easy as some would think. I believe I got lucky, really lucky.\n\nI was referred to Jason before he opened his store, years ago. When Jason opened Pet Grooming City I couldn't get in fast enough. Since then I have had several dogs come and go over the years.\n\nOver the years I have found that Pet Grooming City has been wonderful. From trimming nails and coats to washing and grooming, each visit has been positive. They have always gone out of their way to take extra special care of my dogs.\n\nIn the beginning, Jason was the only groomer who could work with Jenny and Chimale. Since then Pet Grooming City has worked with several of my dogs. Each staff member, not only Jason, has had what it takes to work with my dogs, no matter what the service is.\n\nI hope everyone finds their fit for their beloved pets. I found mine. My dogs will always be taken care of by Pet Grooming City.

I'm sorry to say that I was very dissatisfied with the way our pup looked when she left the shop, she looked nothing like the way she does after being groomed at where we usually go. ( WoW doggie in Gardena) they did take me without an appointment, and in all fairness our dog was a little beyond her usual grooming, but we were told we would be charged a little more & we agreed,and we were! Poor & inexperienced job. Never again.
