Barking Hound Village Inn

Barking Hound Village Inn on Lambert was a wonderful place to send our dog for both daycare and boarding. They have so many unique aspects such as Halloween costume contest(which he won most creative costume btw), dog of the day, and monthly specials. They are extremely welcoming and my dog is always excited to come. They were really trusting and always gave good advice that was always in the best interest of the dogs. The staff remember every dog that comes in which is really surprising given that there are some days there are 100+ dogs. There was one instance where we booked our dog for a luxury suite which has a private room. Our dog has separation anxiety so they picked up on the fact that he would do better with an area where he can see other dogs. When we returned they recommend just the regular suite next time even though it is less money so it would be less profitable to them. Another aspect was they informed us on which dogs he spent his time with each day, showing that they really pay attention. This was a fantastic place to send our dog and I highly recommend sending your dog to Barking Hound Village Inn on Lambert. And special shout out to Brooks, at the end of the day he always welcomed us and told us about the dog care experience of 20+ years.

I have brought my dogs here in 2002. They all have loved it here. My dog can't wait to get inside! As soon as she crosses the threshold, I no longer exist. LOL She enjoys her play time here. I can watch her on their webcam. The photos they provide show how happy she is at Barking Hound. I'm happy with the groomer. They listen to me and groom my dog as I instruct. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Brooks, Courtney, Brian, and the entire staff at the BH Inn are amazing! They are caring, courteous, knowledgeable, and compassionate. It is obvious that they love sharing their time with their four-legged guests! I highly recommend the BH Inn to anyone looking for a positive doggy daycare experience!!
