The Groomers we used to go to closed down last fall. So I found Salty Dog. Was a little hesitant because of the outside only interactions but other reviewers had good ratings. My little multipoo did not like the first groomer we took him too but liked the groomers that recently closed. So I was worried he may not like the new groomers.\n\nNot to worry. We’ve been back 3 months now and he is a little anxious going in but is a happy guy when I pick him up. Casey and Megan do a great job making him look so handsome.\n\nPrice wise Salty Dog is about twice what the previous groomer charged. About 30% more than our other dogs groomers charge.

These are by far the rudest groomers around. Salty is a perfect name for them! For context, when I called today to make an appt, they said they required haircut clients to be on regular schedule, every 6-8 weeks, which is what I typically do. But when I mentioned that I travel for work, and there "may" be a time when I need to reschedule, they told me "yall" need to look elsewhere for a groomer!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Salty Dogs and our groomer, Kacie!\n\nBefore finding Salty Dogs, we used another groomer who did a good job on the haircut itself however, the experience was incredibly stressful for our dog, Emma, a two-year old doodle. The moment we pulled into the parking lot, she would start shaking. She was immediately placed in a kennel and rotated through appointments in a loud, chaotic environment. She would even try to jump over the reception desk to escape. Not to mention the time, she would be there for a minimum of four hours for a bath and longer for a haircut.\n\nAfter being referred to Salty Dogs by a friend, we initially reached out but were told they weren’t accepting new clients. After seeing the sheer terror Emma was experiencing at the previous groomer, I decided to try again and thankfully, there was availability!\n\nThe improvement in the experience was immediately noticeable from our first appointment with Kacie. Salty Dogs offers one-on-one appointments dedicated entirely to your dog, no rotation system, no long waits in kennels. The calm, peaceful environment makes all the difference. Kacie is approachable, easy to work with, and genuinely cares about your dog. Emma will never love being groomed, and was initially very timid with a new groomer. Kacie has handled her with such patience and kindness, Emma has definitely warmed and now runs up to greet Kacie despite knowing what is coming next.\n\nIt’s a huge relief knowing Emma is in experienced hands. Her groom turns out beautifully every time, and we absolutely love the adorable bandanas she comes home wearing!\n\nWe are beyond grateful to have found Salty Dogs and Kacie. If you’re looking for a groomer who prioritizes your dog’s comfort. well-being, and does a great job, we cannot recommend them enough.

We brought our golden retriever here for a groom. They were able to make time to squeeze us in, which was great because he was extra dirty and shaggy. Not only was the cut near perfection, the groomer took her time and gave our pup a snuggle break since he has trouble standing for long periods of time. This is a premium cut, and the price reflects that, however we are willing to spend a little extra knowing our dog is in good hands!

They do not need to keep my dog for hours like some places i don't frequent any more. They lat you know what time he will be done, and you can get him. AWESOME!
