I had heard good reviews from my coworker’s who take their dogs and cats here so i figured i would check it out as its more affordable than petsmart/petco. I have taken my female Persian cat to this place twice now and both times, there were many mess ups. The first time, they gave my cat a really short hair cut and claimed she had hemorrhoids so they needed to shave her tail more, charged an extra 20 dollar fee for it on top of the 80 dollars for a wash/cut. Really freaked me out hearing the hemorroids so i had an emergency vet visit to find out, she was fine and that the groomer has irritated the bottom of her tail to the point of being swollen and wasted me another 100+ dollars over nothing. Really wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an accident, I decided to give another chance. I explicitly picked just a regular cat bath/cut package (lion cut is it own package), wrote in the appointment notes for a “teddy bear cut”, sent reference pictures (as pictured) to the phone number they gave me, and went into details about it in person at drop off at the start of the appointment where the women said she completely understood. About 3 hours later; they let me know my cat is ready and I come pick her up and she’s basically bald. They gave her a full lion cut (something i clearly didn’t ask and whole separate package) and left many scratches on her chest that were damp. Even the lion cut itself was very choppy and uneven especially around her head. They also did not help clean the crusties around her eyes (persians are known to get) as I also included.

I am extremely disappointed with the grooming my dog received. I asked for a simple trim, but instead my dog came back looking completely butchered. The haircut is uneven, patchy, and nothing like what I requested. It’s obvious there was very little attention to detail or care taken during the appointment.\n\nGrooming isn’t just about making a dog look nice—it’s about trusting someone with your pet. Unfortunately, I left feeling like that trust was completely broken. I understand mistakes happen, but this wasn’t a small error. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this salon based on my experience.\n\nThe first photo attached is from the previous groomer he went to and this is what I asked to be done. I even sent the groomer the photo and she said she could do that. But, as you can see from the photos, what they did was not even remotely close.

There are some added fees for a cat bath and blow dry. Total up front price $81.\n\nMy cat is a longhaired domestic. 15 lbs. Trying Frankos for the first time.\n\nWent back to check on my cat 2.5 hours in when I didn’t hear from them. They said she didn't like the dryer. They had her hunkered down in her cat carrier under the crate dryer. There was no way her underside was going to dry. The groomer had gone home. They said the groomer had "brushed and brushed her" but how do you brush a wet cat? I took her home, hair tufts were just falling off of her. She tolerated a handheld dryer at home just fine and I did a much needed brush out, undercoat coming out everywhere! I can't do as well as a salon which is why I take her to professionals!\n\nThis was not my cat's first groom. But it will be her first and last at Frankos.\n\nOn a happier note, they seemed to have been kind to my cat, she doesn't seem traumatized but did complain that they didn't have any cat treats for her!

Took both my Longhaired Dachshund & Yellow Labrador to Franko’s today for a full bath & grooming. They came back looking amazing! Such a great job for both of my dogs! I have been going to Franko’s for the past 25 years for my pets. They are the best! The staff does a great job & their pricing is very competitive! Love this shop! Highly recommend 🥳

I’ve tried using them to groom my dog a few times. Each time they’ve done an almost decent job for the money as they used to be less expensive than other groomers. I could always tell they were in a rush when grooming my Maltese Henry. This recent experience was the worse!! They didn’t clean his eyes or ears! Nor did they cut or trim his ears or tail His nails were only partially trimmed and the cut around looks terrible! The groomers always tell me how good he is so it wasn’t due to him misbehaving. Please see pics below. Oh his ears were also greasy and stringy. Not sure what that was from?? When I complained I was told I’d have to take it up with the owner who has yet to call me back. If she cared the employees should take the pet owners name and number so owner would reach out. Pictures were taken an hour within picking up. Oh yes receptionist asked fairly detailed questions when I left him but nothing was followed. Also I tipped prior to service which they ask for. Since I had only received mediocre service in past I left 15% tip. We’re we punished for not leaving a larger Tip? I believe it was $10. So Disappointed!!
