I just recently moved to Oregon and was nervous to leave my 2 cats at home while I went to visit family in another state for almost a week (from a Friday to the following Thursday). My cats are very shy so I wanted someone to come that would be patient with them while attending to their needs. I initially called PetSitter Portland to get a feel about them as a company and to ask them specific questions about their cat sitting at home services. They were so helpful talking me through all the options and answering all my questions with no hesitation. I did the free meet and greet as well, they were respectful, took notes and even helped me ease my worries from my previous experiences with cat sitters in other states. The first day I was gone and they were coming to the apartment without me there, of course I was nervous. Especially since one of my cats needed specific hairball treats each morning that my other cat could not eat due to being allergic to seafood (the treats contained fish), so I had special instructions on how to feed them to my cat. But the app they use let me know they were on their way, when they arrived and when they left. It also gave detailed notes and photos of what happened during the visit and ensured me that the treats were given properly. I was so happy to see how my cats were doing each day and that they were being well taken care of. I will definitely be using PetSitter Portland for every trip I take and will be using their dog walking services for when I am wanting a day trip to Seattle! They are reasonably priced in general but with how each employee performed their job while spending time with my cats, how responsive the company is, and for the quality all around, I think it's the best deal! I literally could not ask for a more!

The PetSitter Portland team is truly deserving of their high ratings. A couple months ago, I moved here with my German Shepherd and didn't want him to be stuck in the apartment alone all day while I was starting a new job. My pup was anxious when we first moved and wasn't used to apartment life or encountering a lot of new people. I was worried he would be too reactive or intimidating for anyone to be able to take him out, but the PetSitter team quickly set up a meet and greet with him and they hit it off. The team worked with me to get secure access to my building and apartment, and were very accommodating of my schedule. Communication is excellent. Joe is helpful and supportive in confirming services and troubleshooting. All of the PetSitters, but especially Owen and Jan, sent multiple high quality photos of their visits and wrote sweet messages about how the visit went; they went above and beyond in making sure my pup was safe, relieved, and given water. They even gave him some much needed play time in addition to the walks. They were also receptive to requests for consistency with his training. They're a very trustworthy and respectful team, and I am hugely appreciative of their thoroughness, attention to detail, and reliability. Even though my pup won't need routine visits anymore, it's a huge comfort knowing there's such a great team available for any days I need covered!

Trustworthy pet sitters! Had our first experience with PerSitter Portland and we were impressed. They make it super easy to communicate with the pet sitters through their app. It allows you to see photos, track the dog walks, and see personal journal entries of their visit. Additionally, you can add details about your pets specific needs and routines so it’s consistent across all visits. Definitely would use them again! Comforting to know our pets are in good hands if we need to get away.

I was so worried about finding someone to take care of my puppers while I was away. But finding Petsitter was the best thing ever! Everyone who came to care for my pups at home did a fantastic job. I was so worried since one of my pups is possessive about her things but didn't have to worry at all. They sent pics and videos to me every day which I loved and could see how happy they were. When I got home my dogs greeted me like I just came back from work rather than being gone 4 days. They were much more relaxed than predicted which tells me a lot. Whenever they had an issue they would contact me so we can solve it but that rarely came up. I highly recommend PetSitter especially if someone didn't want their pups to be in a unknown location in a kennel. I will definitely use them again for pet-sitting. I'm even looking into their walking blocks for my 2 higher energy dogs. Thank you to everyone at PetSitter!

Pet Sitter Portland was amazing for our last trip. It was a week long one and one of our dogs had never been left with anyone else. Every day we got positive updates with photos and specifics about how our 2 dogs and 1 cat were doing. The older dog required medication daily which was no problem. I highly recommend Pet Sitter Portland whether you have dogs or cats, they will be in excellent hands. Thank you Pet Sitter Portland and Joe!
