This was overall just a chaotic ordering experience. The one star is for the fact that this is one of the only places around that currently have my cat's preferred raw food in stock -- though I won't be ordering from them again. I would rather go out of my way to get the food somewhere else than here. If not for the raw food in stock, I would be wanting to give zero stars. I ordered the food to be delivered on the 19th. I ordered at 5:48 PM on the 19th, with the website stating that it would still be delivered on the 19th before 7 PM (when the store closed). I received an email from the store at 6:36 PM on the 19th stating that my order would be delivered the next day -- the 20th -- after 12 PM (not giving me an end time to the window, just a vague 'after 12 PM'). They did not ask if this was okay since it would be outside of the original delivery window, just stated that this is what would be happening. I was like okay, whatever, maybe it was a busy day and just let it slide -- I had the next day off so I would be home to retrieve the raw food before it went bad anyway and I didn't even read the e-mail until after the store had closed for the day, limiting my options. The next day -- the 20th -- I received a call around 11 AM. I couldn't pick it up, so they proceeded to call me twice more. I finally picked up on the third call -- at this point, just send another email. They were asking me if it was okay if my delivery was actually delivered the next day -- the 21st -- AFTER 11 AM. I was busy at the moment, so I said sure that's fine. Whatever. The food is two days late in being delivered at this point. At 7:37 PM that day I changed my mind -- starting to get frustrated with this process. It's not like it's canned food being delivered -- it's raw food, that can't sit out for long, so I would be required to be home each time a delivery was attempted or promised -- especially since I requested contact free delivery (which I did because I am currently ill and didn't want to expose the delivery driver). I sent an e-mail at 7:37 requesting a cancellation. I knew they had closed 37 minutes prior that day, but also knew they opened at 10 AM the next -- and figured they would see the request before sending someone to deliver it. The next day the food was dropped off BEFORE 11 A.M. with me receiving an e-mail confirming the ordered had been cancelled and refunded soon after. I was extremely confused -- but I just wanted to be done with it, figured they would just re-charge my card when the miscommunication between the associate and the delivery person was fixed. Instead I got an e-mail stating it was just easier for the delivery person to drop the food off before she'd gone into work so communication had failed at some level and she'd stated she'd be re-charging my card. That's fine, whatever. Again, I just wanted to be done with this. Then came the e-mail that stated she COULDN'T re-charge my card for some reason and requested I call the store to give her my card number. I did, because I don't want to deprive a local business of money when I have their product -- and I don't drive, so it's not exactly easy for me to drop it off. While I was on the phone I got placed on hold in the middle of the call -- despite the entire chaotic mishandling that had lead up to this in the first place. I really don't think I should've had to have been charged after two days of dealing with this and my time wasted over and over again. I won't be shopping here again -- and would encourage others not to, but especially DO NOT order for delivery.

Went in here earlier just because and ended up loving their selection. They offer Open Farm Pet (my dog’s preferred food) and many other dog food brands! Couldn’t resist saying hi to Felix, the cat available for adoption right now, and grabbing a few treats to take home for our old boy Kershaw. 😻🥰

This is just a review for the groomer, Martha. Superlative, the best! She really seems to love dogs--even the difficult ones.\n\nI have an older, arthritic velcro dog that straight up freaks out at the vet or groomers. But from the first time Martha met Enzo, I knew she was going to be great. She sat down on the floor with him and put him at ease. She even goes the extra mile just because she knows he needs it (eg was very itchy lately so she washed him 2x with his vet rx shampoo, didn't even ask). and she alerted me to some lumps that have been developing as he's gotten older that I missed (luckily benign but glad she saw them so could have checked out at the vet).\n\nI always put a cloth muzzle on him before we go into Martha's (or the vets!), just to be sure (he's not vicious, just scared); but she takes it off and has apparently never had a problem. Better than NW Neighborhood Vet!\n\nHe's never happy to go to the groomer, but he doesn't yelp straight through like he used to. Martha's fabulous, and looks like the rest of NW is finding out--she's booked out weeks in advance.\n\nAnd word to those of you whose pups also have separation anxiety: best to make the hand off quick and get as far away from the groomer/vet room as possible. If they sense you're still nearby, they'll keep being stressed.

This is my local pet food store and the staff is super friendly. I recently had to call and they stayed open a few minutes late for me to arrive. I have used the dog grooming stations which are clean and have lots of options for shampoos and brushes and towels. I love supporting a locally owned independent business.

I got to the store just 1 min before closing but the women was kind to let me shop without making me feel like I was a problem. I’ve been shopping there for at least 4 years now and always Good service and fair prices. Thx again
