This is now the third or fourth review I’ve seen about dogs leaving Pet Paradise with bloody diarrhea, and unfortunately, I’m adding to that list so other pet owners are aware. I boarded my 10-year-old dog and my 3-year-old dog for a few days. When my dad picked them up, they were unusually frantic and not acting like themselves. He immediately knew something was wrong. As soon as they got home and got out of the car, both dogs had bloody diarrhea. It lasted 2–3 days, and my 3-year-old dog was also vomiting foam.\nBecause I was out of town, my dad called our veterinarian, who said this is absolutely not normal and that they needed to be seen. When he contacted Pet Paradise, they claimed it was just “stress.” Our vet strongly disagreed and said bloody diarrhea and vomiting foam are not typical stress reactions. She was concerned they may have ingested something harmful - possibly from unsanitary water bowls, leftover cleaning chemicals, or something in the outdoor play area.\nMy dad requested the outdoor camera footage (since they advertise cameras in the play areas) to see if the dogs got into something so we could determine the cause and get them proper treatment. They refused to provide it. On top of that, the general manager of the Las Colinas location, told my dad that my 10-year-old dog was “too old” to board and my 3-year-old was “too young,” which supposedly explained the symptoms. If that were true, why accept them in the first place? My 10-year-old regularly flies ON A PLANE long distances and has stayed at multiple boarding facilities without ever experiencing anything like this.\nWhat’s even more upsetting is the behavioral change. My 3-year-old dog, who used to be perfectly fine with loud noises and normal activity, came home suddenly terrified of loud sounds and extremely anxious. It’s like the experience traumatized her.\nThe facility itself appeared dirty, and the staff seemed careless and disorganized. I would never trust this place with my dogs again. No pet owner should have to bring their dogs home sick and emotionally distressed after a short boarding stay.

Roscoe and I have been coming to Pet Paradise for almost two years, and I can’t say enough great things about our experience. From the moment we walk through the door, we are greeted with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and always willing to answer questions or provide updates, which means so much to me as a pet parent.\n\nUnder Shea and Casey’s leadership, they’ve built a team that truly loves and understands dogs. It’s clear that everyone takes pride in providing exceptional care and creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. The team is always happy to see Roscoe, spend time with him, and make sure he feels comfortable, safe, and loved.\n\nTheir experience, professionalism, and positive attitude give me complete confidence that Roscoe is receiving the very best care. Every time I leave, I feel comfortable and reassured knowing he is safe, happy, and having a great time. That peace of mind is priceless.\n\nAfter nearly two years, the quality of care and level of service have remained consistently outstanding. I highly recommend Pet Paradise to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and exceptional place for their furry family member!

I can’t speak for my fur baby but I haven’t had a bad experience so far. I’ve booked 3 times and I loved that they worked with me on my last visit because I ended up having to book another night on short notice. They were accommodating❤️

I want to sincerely recognize and thank everyone at Pet Paradise Las Colinas who cared for my dog, Cody, over the Fourth of July weekend.\n\nThis was my first time traveling overseas and the first time I had ever been away from Cody for an extended period. Like any pet owner, I was incredibly anxious about leaving him. My sister, was listed as my emergency contact because she previously lived in the Dallas area, but she now lives in Chicago.\n\nBecause of the time difference while I was overseas, I wasn’t always able to answer my phone. The staff did exactly what they were supposed to do—they immediately contacted my sister and kept her informed every step of the way while working together to get Cody the emergency care he needed. Their communication with both of us was prompt, professional, and compassionate, and it gave me tremendous peace of mind knowing that even though I couldn’t respond right away, Cody was in such capable hands.\n\nWhen the staff noticed blood in Cody’s urine, they acted immediately and arranged for him to be evaluated by an emergency veterinarian. He was ultimately diagnosed with kidney stones, and I truly believe their attentiveness and quick action made all the difference.\n\nI also want to recognize Pet Paradise’s boarding procedures. Before Cody’s stay, the staff carefully confirmed my emergency contact information and had me complete paperwork outlining my wishes should an emergency arise. At the time, it seemed like standard paperwork, but during this experience I realized just how important those policies are. Because everything was already in place, the team was able to act quickly without hesitation, exactly as I would have wanted.\n\nThe communication throughout the entire situation was exceptional. The updates and photos they sent while I was thousands of miles away helped ease my worries and reminded me that Cody was being treated with genuine love and compassion.\n\nCody will be 10 years old tomorrow, and he means the absolute world to me. Knowing he was surrounded by people who genuinely cared for him when I couldn’t be there is something I will never forget.\n\nThank you to everyone at Pet Paradise Las Colinas for treating Cody like one of your own. Your kindness, professionalism, and dedication to the animals in your care are truly remarkable. I am beyond grateful for everything you did, and I would recommend Pet Paradise to anyone looking for a boarding facility that truly puts the health and well-being of pets first.
