I have been bringing my dogs here since 1993! Applewood staff has provided me with exceptional service every time! Yojan groomed my dogs monthly the entire time he worked there! All the groomers do a wonderful job! I also feel so comfortable having my dogs boarded here! I always choose a luxury suite, knowing my pet is comfortable with her bed and toys. All the areas for boarding are clean and very well kept! The owner does a beautiful job maintaining this property! He is hands on and it shows with the property details and the staff working alongside him! ♥️🦮🐩🐕‍🦺🐈🐈‍⬛♥️✨✨✨✨✨

After having an awful experience at The Barking Dog boarding facility, I decided to try Applewood Pet Resort—and I’m so glad I did.\n\nI visited the facility ahead of my dogs’ stay and was greeted right away. The staff gave me a full tour, showing the different room options and both the indoor and outdoor play areas. I also noticed there were a lot of employees present during my visit, which gave me peace of mind knowing the dogs are well cared for.\n\nThey even suggested bringing my dogs in for day camp before their stay, which I really appreciated. I dropped them off for a few hours, and that helped me feel even more confident moving forward.\n\nI booked a 3-night stay and received updates when I called to check in, which I loved. When I picked them up, I was greeted immediately again, and the staff was just as friendly as before.\n\nMost importantly, my dogs seemed happy—and that means everything. I’ll definitely be using Applewood Pet Resort for all my future boarding needs

This was the first time I'd ever boarded my pets, and I was nervous about it since I was leaving for a 4 day trip. I boarded my 1-year-old pitbull, Jaxson, and my 3-year-old Frenchie, Peanut which also their first time being boarded and away from us.\n\nI called Applewood on the first day to check in, and they let me know the dogs were doing fine and settling in well. A couple of days later, I called again for an update and asked if I could get a few pictures or videos. The woman who answered put me on hold for several minutes and seemed to forget I was there, until another staff member picked up the line and asked if I was being helped. She came back on and said she'd send the photos over.\n\nAfter not hearing anything for about 4 hours, I called again for an update. I was told, "Yeah, we're busy here, I'll let you know if we can do it." I asked if that was a yes or a no, and explained that since it was their first time being boarded, it was really important to us to see how they were doing. She said she'd try her best to send pictures.\n\nHonestly, how hard is it to send a quick picture update? Most boarding facilities offer live webcams or regular updates so owners can check in on their pets. It felt like they just didn't care. After that conversation, I immediately called a friend to go pick the dogs up. When my friend arrived, there were several staff members just sitting at the front desk, not doing much of anything.\nI wouldn't recommend this place. especially at $400 a night, getting a response like that was the last straw. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE. The staff there is neglectful and takes 0 accountability for anything that happens under their watch. Our perfectly healthy cat was boarded here. Upon picking her up, she showed serious signs of distress, dehydration, exhaustion and would not eat. After taking her to the emergency vet, she passed away. This facility does not record anything on your animals - whether or not they ate, what time they were fed, how they were doing, etc. No updates, NOTHING. The staff should be ashamed of themselves. I strongly urge anyone looking for a boarding facility to look elsewhere.

We have taken our Yorkies here for many years...to keep it short...if your dog needs anything other than grooming...do not go here.\nIf your dog needs serious veterinarian expertise...do not go here. You will live to regret it.\nTwo more oddities: when you enter the exam room, they discretely start a timer. They also inform you that everything spoken in the room is being recorded. Very weird.
