Megan has been absolutely incredible with my dog, Henry. He’s a big guy with a sensitive side, and finding someone I trust with him has not been easy. From day one, Megan has been so thoughtful, gentle, and genuinely caring with him.\n\nWhat I appreciate most is how observant and knowledgeable she is. She gives me great updates on Henry’s body condition, skin, coat, and overall wellness, which makes me feel like she’s caring for the whole dog, not just giving a haircut or bath. She notices the little things and communicates them in a way that feels helpful, never alarmist.\n\nShe’s also incredibly honest and trustworthy. Megan only recommends or performs what she truly feels is necessary and never oversells services, which I deeply appreciate.\n\nAnd maybe the biggest endorsement of all: Henry genuinely seems okay with going to the groomer, which is a first! That alone says everything. I’m so grateful to have found someone who treats him with such kindness and care. Highly, highly recommend Megan. here's a before and after from today's session!

As Benji’s owner, I can honestly say the 30 minute drive is worth it every time! Benji is my golden retriever and he absolutely loves his groomer. Shout out to Kelsey!! She always does an amazing job and takes such great care of him. He comes home looking so handsome and happy after every visit as you can tell by the pictures. Highly recommend!

Lanna has been going to Megan since she was a puppy, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. 🤍 She always comes back looking absolutely flawless, and you can tell Megan really takes her time and cares about every detail instead of rushing through the groom.\nWhat I love most is that Lanna genuinely loves going there, which says everything to me. As a Samoyed owner, trust is huge, and I always feel completely at ease leaving her with Megan. She’s so kind, patient, and amazing at what she does. Highly recommend!

5 stars isn’t enough for Megan at Dirty Dogs Solana Beach. I have an English Bulldog, so it is EXTREMELY important that whoever is grooming/bathing her understands the breed and knows how careful they need to be about keeping water out of her airway. Megan is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive, and she’s the ONLY groomer I’ll be using moving forward. Honestly, if she ever leaves, I’ll follow her anywhere. 😂\n\nYou can tell she genuinely loves animals and cares for them like they’re her own. Athena absolutely hates going to get groomed, but the second she sees or hears Megan, she calms down immediately — and if that isn’t the sign of a good human and amazing groomer, I don’t know what is.\n\nIf you go to Dirty Dogs Solana Beach, request Megan. She is the best.

I’ve been a client of Megan’s for about a year, booking her regularly to groom my Samoyed, Moon. Anyone who knows the breed understands they’re a particular dog to groom: high-maintenance coats, and not always the most patient patients. Megan has always handled her with skill, patience, and genuine care.\n\nWhat’s stood out most to me is her attentiveness. During one appointment, Megan noticed something that even our vet had missed: a staple that had been left in Moon post-surgery. Her careful, thorough approach quite literally made a difference to her health and wellbeing.\n\nShe is reliable, professional, and flexible, and I always felt completely confident leaving my dog in her hands. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone.
