What pet parents say

So glad I found this bootcamp! Atlas has worked with a bunch of different trainers and this is the first time I’m really seeing a significant difference. They are so helpful and tailor everything to the dogs. They have so much structure and patience which is exactly what most dogs need. Could not recommend more. The cost is entirely worth it!!

A few months after meeting Hilary while she was leading a pack walk through our neighborhood, I reached out because Kobe—our French bulldog—had us at the end of our rope (again). He’s like ten dogs in one. Years ago, Kobe completed a 3-week board & train and absolutely thrived, but when we didn’t follow through at home, we quickly found ourselves almost right back where we started.\n\nCamp has been a total game changer. It provides the physical and mental stimulation Kobe needs. He’s usually “on” 24/7, but camp has also taught him (and us!) that doing nothing is actually doing something. The program Hilary and Melanie have created truly works. Kobe may be at camp, but we as pet parents have homework too—and that homework has made all the difference. It doesn’t take much, yet it’s incredibly effective.\n\nWe love receiving video updates of Kobe at camp, surrounded by other “campers,” thriving in such a safe and structured environment. I’m so grateful for Hilary, Melanie, and Megan—their expertise, thoughtfulness, and kindness mean everything.\n\nStop thinking about joining camp and just do it. You and your dog won’t regret it. 🐾💙

Over the past 7 months of taking my dog to WOTP, my dog's life and therefore my life has improved DRAMATICALLY! Before camp, every walk we took would be stressful for both me and my dog. I was afraid to take her to public places, knowing that she might have big behaviors around unknown dogs and people. Hilary, Mel, and Megan have helped me so much with creating a stronger bond with my dog with more trust in one another so that now we are able to go on walks without her growling, lunging or barking at other people/dogs, we can go places off leash (which I never ever in a million years thought we would be able to do), and we are able to be neutral and calm around my boyfriend and friends' dogs without any additional stress! My dog is visibly less anxious and is more excited to go out and about on adventures with me. Me and my dog are forever grateful for WOTP and all of the joy it has brought to our life ◡̈

Wisdom of the Pack (Hilary and Melanie) have been amazing for our rescue pup! One of our main goals is for him to enable his OFF switch on his own and to also practice neutrality. I’d say after his first camp visit we already noticed improvements. One example: putting himself to place. It’s also great that Hilary and Melanie are available for questions. They always provide great advice and guidance with thorough instructions and sometimes with video! They’ve been really integral in our dogs success so far. We’ve loved WOTP so much that (at the time of this review) he currently about to start month three! We can’t wait for more growth and wins for him! I would recommend WOTP to anyone even remotely interested in a structured day camp! Hilary and Melanie are awesome and you can tell they truly care for the campers and handlers alike. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

I couldn’t be more happier that my dog Milo was able to work with Hilary and Melanie at Wisdom of the Pack day camp. Milo loved going every week and I quickly saw a difference in his reactivity and overall calmness in his day to day activities. Hilary and Melanie were great in providing updates on how he was doing in camp and very open to any questions or advice when asked on how to handle certain reactions. Milo is still a puppy so there were things I wanted to learn to be able to handle situations the best that I could and I learned so much through them!\n\nMilo and I had worked with Hilary previously in different courses and I immediately jumped to the opportunity for him to join their day camp! He joined for only a month due to us moving from San Diego shortly after but he learned so much from just a month in their camp. Hilary and Melanie are just two wonderful people that truly want the best for you and your dog and want your dog to improve and succeed. They went above and beyond to try to help Milo before we moved and even provided some resources that I could look into in the area I was moving to. I could feel how much they cared for me and my fur baby. If I hadn’t moved, Milo would definitely still be in their camp!\n\nI would highly recommend Wisdom of the Pack to anyone that wants to better their relationship and communication with their dog! You are leaving your dog in such good hands!
