Extremely disappointed with my experience. I have heard such great things about this specific location AND I know other dogs who have boarded here. They did change owners.\n\nMy pup did a temperament test and I was disappointed with how it was handled. First, one of the receptionist was like a baby teenage. Isn't the first thing they teach you is to not use a baby voice with your pup. Second, the dogs that they brought in to test aggression was also not listening. Yes, I totally agree that my pup needed a more recall training, but their dogs did not have recall whatsoever. Third, they poorly did the introduction in to the yard. All of this was observed through cameras and I knew it wasn't a good call. It was like the new kid on the block, of course my pup is going to be a little shy. There is 20+ dogs coming in at him at once. The owner just sat there and does not even know how to do a proper introduction for dogs.\n\nI know worst behaved dogs that get accepted in to boarding. And the previous temperament test (from what I've heard) is just go in the back and as long as they do not 'show aggression' they can go. Wow.\n\nI hope the other locations are not like this. I do not recommend this location and ultimately disappointed.

My 16-month-old golden retriever absolutely loves going to Camp Run-A-Mutt PL! I appreciate being able to check in on him through the Mutt Cam, and every staff member I’ve met has been warm, kind, and they clearly love dogs. The new owner is fantastic—such a great addition! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun, safe, and caring environment for their pup.”

I absolutely love this place. They take such good care of my pup and they send lot of pictures. I truly never worry about my dog when I’m traveling because of this camp.

We have been bringing our dogs to Camp Run-A-Mutt Point Loma for many years, and we absolutely love this place! We wouldn’t consider taking our pets anywhere else. Our older Rottweilers enjoyed their overnight stays and daytime visits, and they always came home happy and well-cared for.\n\nNow, we have an energetic Malinois/Shepherd mix, and she’s thriving here. With her high energy and need for stimulation, Camp Run-A-Mutt Point Loma has been a perfect fit. The staff truly understands her needs and provides a wonderful environment for her to play and socialize.\n\nWe cannot recommend Camp Run-A-Mutt enough! We are incredibly grateful to have found such a loving and supportive community for our pups.

My baby is so happy to come here for daycare everyday. We started off two days a week and soon moved to 5 days a week as she still needed some energy to be let loose ;)\n\nThey are great with all the doggies here and all of them are so sweet. I highly recommend Camp if you are wanting your pup to have the time of their life while you are at work or away!
