The experience provided by the San Diego Camp Bow Wow has been absolutely outstanding. I am a protective dog mom to my high energy shepherd-hound mix and I have a high bar for expectations on group dog interactions. The staff at Camp have completely won my trust with their enthusiasm, attention to detail, and clear love they have for each individual dog.\n\nThe manager, Jake, is incredible--from the very first visit on he has been consistently positive, professional, welcoming, and knowledgeable about how my dog has been during any single day and also how she is adapting to daycare over time. I also want to shout-out Nina and Jennifer for their clear love of the dogs in their care--they always have a story about a friend my dog made, or a picture/video of her playing to show me when I pick her up.\n\nThey have cameras which are able to be accessed through the app, so you can check on your dog during the day. The facility is always clean. My dog is always excited to go to daycare and comes home happy-tired. The staff are knowledgeable about proper management of dog groups, and do an excellent job of monitoring interactions and interrupting inappropriate dog behavior.\n\nWe've done daycare, boarding, and grooming here and every service has been excellent. We have tried a few other daycares and Camp Bow Wow San Diego is our favorite by a mile!

As the proud mom of a Labrador named Irie (which, as fellow Lab parents know, is basically a full-time cardio commitment), I cannot say enough good things about Camp Bow Wow Midway.\n\nThe first time I realized this place was special? Irie gets just as excited on the drive there as she does when she knows we’re going to the beach. That is elite-level enthusiasm. She practically vibrates in the back seat.\n\nShe plays hard, makes friends, and gets absolutely adored by the camp counselors. Every single staff member we’ve interacted with has been warm, kind, and genuinely excited to see her. You can tell they truly love the dogs, and Irie clearly feels that love right back.\n\nAnd here’s the real miracle: she comes home exhausted. Not “slightly calmer.” Not “mildly less chaotic.” I mean full-on, noodle-body, snoring-on-the-floor exhausted. And the tiredness lasts into the next day. As a Labrador mom, I do not use the word miracle lightly.\n\nIt gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s somewhere safe, supervised, stimulated, and loved on while I’m busy. Camp Bow Wow has become part of our weekly routine, and Irie absolutely thrives there.\n\nIf you have a high-energy pup (especially a Lab!), this place is worth every penny. Five stars from me ( and if Irie could type, I’m pretty sure she’d give it ten.)\n\nAttached photos are the one the staff sends me in real time when she is at camp!

Camp Bow Wow Airport SD is amazing! We bring our 2yr old Mini Schnauzer Luna there for daycare and she loves it. She get excited every time we pull up to the front doors, and she's always ready for fun. They offer many types of activities for the dogs such as sniff and search in the ballpit, playing fetch, to paw painting. The prices are very reasonable and they offer discounts on bulk packages. The staff are super nice and take good care of the pets. They really show that they care about the dogs, giving them constant love and kisses. The owner is super responsiva to questions, feedback to make your pets stay more enjoyable. We love all the pictures they send us of Luna and updates during the day. We're also able to see her daily activities via the cameras. It took us awhile to find the right daycare for Luna that was within our price range, but we found Camp Bow Wow. Would recommend.

Yogi is 15 and had never been to daycare before, so I was nervous, but it has been going great. He has really enjoyed the outdoor experience and loves being around other dogs. Jake has been a class act and has been so helpful in gaining both my trust and Yogi’s. He is very gentle and patient and has made Yogi’s first daycare experience a positive one, helping build his trust and confidence. Jennifer and Melody (I hope I got their names right!) have been fantastic and are constantly making sure the dogs’ areas are clean and that they get pets and snuggles throughout the day. They know my dog and give me cute updates, like his affinity for barking at the seagulls during the day and how happy it makes him.

This was a wonderful boarding experience with no down sides! I boarded my two dogs for 10 days + nights, and had them bathed on the last day before pick up. I enjoyed being able to check up on them throughout the day with cameras in the play yard and the luxury suite. I called several times to check up on my dogs and make sure they were okay. Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and patient with my many questions. During their stay, the camp sent me pictures of my puppies playing and interacting with the employees. Due to my flight being delayed, I was not able to pick up my dogs on the evening I planned. However, a quick call to the camp allowed me to have a neighbor to pick up the dogs and pay over the phone. My dogs came back clean and happy; it seems they loved and felt comfortable. Truly a great experience all around.
