We absolutely love Groomer 19! It’s a very friendly, family-owned small business that truly cares about their customers and pets. The place is always clean, and the service is excellent.\n\nWe especially love their self-wash station - it’s so convenient, and they have strong high-velocity dryers that work great. They also offer an unlimited self-wash package at a very affordable price, which is an amazing deal.\n\nWe showed up close to closing time, and they kindly stayed open for us anyway. On top of that, they even gave our dog a wrapped Christmas gift, which was such a thoughtful touch.\n\nHighly recommend Groomer 19 to anyone looking for great service and a welcoming atmosphere! 🐾

I brought my dog Peanut to Angie after hearing she’s amazing with dogs that are on the more difficult side and I can honestly say I’m blown away by the results. Peanut is a 7-lb Maltese who can be very challenging when it comes to grooming. He’s reactive with the leash, sensitive when his face is handled, and has struggled with blow dryers and brushing in the past. I’ve tried several groomers around San Diego before deciding to bring him to Angie.\n\nFrom the start, Angie was incredibly professional and communicative. She kept me updated every step of the way, sharing how Peanut was doing throughout the appointment. She was honest about his initial reactivity with the leash, but thanks to her calm approach and positive reinforcement, Peanut responded beautifully and allowed her to continue with his bath. She even sent me videos of him calmly tolerating the blow dryer and brushing something I never thought I’d see!\n\nThe only small hiccup was that Peanut was a little wiggly during his ear trim, which is completely understandable and no big deal at all. Overall, this visit was a huge milestone for my dog, and I am beyond grateful for Angie’s patience, skill, and genuine care.\n\nTo add to this, I am a dog groomer myself so you’d think my own dog would let me groom him but Angie truly has a magical touch. She is a gem, and I am forever thankful for the positive experience she gave my dog. I will absolutely continue bringing Peanut to her and will always support her and her amazing business and staff. Highly, highly recommend!

Groomer 19 in Point Loma is the best. The self wash stations are super convenient and the high velocity dryers are far better than the OB self wash. They get my golden retriever dry in minutes. The unlimited monthly self wash package is a great price and perfect for regular beach play days or muddy mishaps at the dog park.\n\nIt is a family run business and the owner Angie and her husband are always friendly, remember our dogs name and check in with us.\n\nToday the owner noticed my dog was thirsty and he brought her a clean bowl and a bottle of human drinking water. Very cute and very thoughtful.\n\nThey also offer pet cologne and perfume after baths and my dog always leaves smelling wonderful. It is a great location in Liberty Station in Point Loma. I recommend this place to all Point Loma pet parents.

I’ve been going to Groomer 19 and friends for 5 months. My pup has always come home happy and clean and well groomed. I am not in for shave and wash. My pup is true to her bread and has a moppys look about her that makes her personality. The people at groomers 19 are so in tuned with your breeds look that they make your pup feel so special. And that makes me feel so good. I love my pup and Angie does too 🫶🏻

I recently took my 10-year-old Labrador, who struggles with environmental allergies, to Thera-Clean for their 3-session therapy-clean bath treatment. From the moment we walked in, both Angie and Jesse made us feel welcome and at ease. Their professionalism and genuine care for my dog's well-being were evident.\n\nThroughout the sessions, they were incredibly attentive and gentle with my dog, ensuring he was comfortable and relaxed. Angie and Jesse took the time to understand his specific needs and tailored the treatments to address his allergies. I appreciated their thoroughness and the way they communicated each step of the process, making me feel confident that my boy was in great hands.\n\nThe results were outstanding.
