I’ve waited months because I typically don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews for anywhere. It’s a karmic thing for me but I can’t seem to be able to move forward without the constant reminder of how bad of a job they really did. I got my baby boy in February 2025, I had always chose to groom him myself as he is hyper sensitive. He is a jack chi and under 8 pounds. A close friend of mine recommended furrari and it’s 5 minutes from my home so I said let me give it a try. I got Mr Vinny groomed and nails trimmed. As he got older it got more difficult to trim his nails…grooming on the other hand has never been an issue and I wish I would’ve just done it myself. The first day everything was fine he had a serious floral fragrance all over his body they must’ve used deodorizing powder or something. The next day he was scratching viciously in his ears and his eyes he ended up drawing blood…I took him to the vet immediately. They did a yeast test he registered for 8/10 for yeast infection in his ears and I mean horrible staining under his eyes that never existed the day before or ever in general. His eye was actually so irritated that it was getting stuck in the back of his head after patting and scratching his eyes…. Yes chihauhuas are prone to having tear staining but my baby boy Did not!!!! I always have gave him spring water in a ceramic bowl and wiped his face and paws with normal water. I have before and after pictures I can share below. I mean it literally only took 24 hours and it immediately went south. The doctor gave us medication and cleaned his ears. It’s been almost 6 months I’ve done everything I possibly can to get rid of the staining and it won’t go away. It’s been a long process and everyday reminder of the horrible decision I made to trust someone else with my dog. I hate that the only grooming experience he’s had went like this and I wish I could go back in time and never call them. He’s really such a sweet boy I don’t understand how they could do this to my baby. He constantly is scratching his eyes and patting at his eyes. Even 6 months later he still has fur missing from around his eyes. I would be weary about taking my dog here!!!
