St Petersbark

I can't say enough good things about this place. If you have a sick pup or a picky eater, look no further. They have an amazing variety of options. Our senior dog was only interested in soft purees and we were losing our minds trying to find options on Chewy/PetSmart/Amazon with very little luck. St petersbark had TONS of options other stores don't and our dog is getting all the nutrients he needs. Thank you so much 🩵 they also asked we keep them posted on what our dog likes so they can make sure it's stocked for us. Support local, y'all

I absolutely love this store! Great selection of products. Northwest Naturals is all I feed my dog, so after moving here from the PNW I was so glad to find someone local who carried their line of products!\nI will say though, last time we went in, I brought my small dog and lady with two large dogs (that she could barely control) was standing at the front desk. As we walked by, her dog lunged and bit mine in the face. Luckily I reacted quickly and pulled her away but it still broke skin on her face right below her eye. PLEASE do not bring your dogs into such a small store if they cannot be behaved around other dogs. This is not the store’s fault, but rather the other customer. It is such a small store layout that your dog likely will come in to close contact with others, so just have awareness.

Your staff was great today. My son had an accident and fell asleep on our way to your store. I didn’t want to bring him for obvious reasons. They kindly looked up what food we purchased in the past, charged my card and brought it to my car so I could stay with him. I greatly appreciate your kindness and understanding. God bless, Diana Cullom

I spend my day off running errands because I do my best to shop local whenever I get the chance. I will now purchase my dog food at Chewy. I attempted to return a bag of dog food that became moldy after having it for two months in an airtight container. My dog is only 5 pounds and she only eats a tiny bit of dry food a day.I brought the food back, but because I didn’t have the original packaging, and it was over one month she would not give me an exchange or money back or anything whatsoever. She actually made me feel like it was my fault. In today’s climate, customer service is very important. As a small business owner myself, I bend over backwards to make sure that my customers will come back. I may be back to St Perersbark buy some of my other ancillary products, but I will not buy my pet food there. I want to enjoy my errand day and not be treated like I did something wrong like throwing original packaging away. I also wonder how many times I gave my dog her kibbles with mold on it and didn’t notice. Bummed they are ok losing a customer over one bag of dog food. Bummed.

Best pet store around, they are small but they have everything I need for my cat. I love the atmosphere and friendly workers. You walk in you are met with a genuine smile and greeting. They always ask if you need help and very knowledgeable people. The loyalty discounts are great. Free bag every tenth bag! They have all healthy options for your pet, ever since I switched my cats coat has been gorgeous (see cat for reference). The litter I switched to (boxxie cat) is seriously the best. Highly recommend, very happy this store exists.
