Dockside Doggies Pet Grooming

My Yorkie (Fozzie) is my baby but sometimes it's like having a pet rattle snake when it's time for a bath and a brush. I'm BIG on supporting local business, so I was happy to find Dockside Doggies. Fozzie went for his first grooming today and these girls did a PHENOMENAL job. I can't get over the transformation. Stellar job! Attached is a before and after! WOW!

The first time I went to Darkside grooming, my dog was done beautifully. However, the second time I took her, she barely looked groomed. Hardly any fur had been taken off. Her paws were so furry they were hitting the ground, and you could not even see her nails. Around her anal area no fur was clipped for when she had to go to the bathroom. I called the groomer and I was given apparently, whoever did her this girl‘s response was very flat and not at all apologetic. I was deeply disappointed and thought I had found a fabulous Groomer. I will never go back there again and I suggest anyone looking for a great Groomer go elsewhere I have used Wolfgang puck in the past and just wasn’t able to get an appointment at that time. This was the worst grooming I’ve ever had. I paid $65 for a tiny Yorkie and even gave her $20 tip not realizing how the grooming had gone till I got her home and looked her over. This is the first negative review I’ve ever given on anything the grooming may have been bad but they should’ve made it right there was no apology. They did not ask to bring the dog back and look at it and they more or less said oh well it is what it is. Take my word for do not go to this Groomer\n\nI received A call which I believe is the owner, she was not apologetic at all and claimed to have called me and let me know that she believed my dog‘s leg was too sore to receive a total grooming. I was in the company of three friends and never received such a call. when I returned. The dog looked OK I hadn’t looked her over close. I really more or less just saw her face when I got her home my friends and I looked her over and were horrified. She did not look like she had been groomed at all. When I picked her up. I paid the full amount of $65 plus a $20 tip they accepted this money as if the grooming had been done. Had the story been true and she had called me about this issue then why did she accept the full amount for the full grooming? None of this makes sense. There was no apology no kindness, and even an agreement or offer to redo the Dog, which would’ve totally satisfied me. But to claim to have called me when it never happened, infuriated me I might’ve become a little loud in the conversation I admitt at which point she told me she was not gonna be yelled at like that and hung up the phone on me. I don’t know about you, but I think we pay well for the grooming of our pets and to be treated like this is just unacceptable. There are many groomers out there that are phenomenal and this is the first time I have ever tried a new one and had such a reaction. I’m sorry I wasted everyone’s time and put my dog through this. You can do what you want, but I would seek another Groomer if you wanna pay all that money like I did for a bath.

The Amazing staff over at dockside doggies pet grooming got my boy Milo right and they absolutely loved him up there you can definitely tell they take pride in their work! Would definitely recommend!

Always does a great job with my sons ESA Slinky Dog!! He's quite difficult due to anxiety towards outside people and because he is now a senior but he does great here!!

Being a first time little fluffy dog owner I had a lot to learn about caring for a smaller breed and keeping up with grooming. The ladies at Dockside Doggies have been wonderful. My Finley loves going in for her groom and always comes home so cute. We appreciate the cleanliness of the shop and the inviting demeanor of the ladies who really seem to care for all the dogs. A+!
