Paws 'n' Rec - Grace

We took our two dogs to the Paws N Rec Grace location to be assessed for their boarding and training program. We dealt with Haven, one of the Manager’s and she was absolutely fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and knew how to handle our anxiety filled Frenchie. She took great care of him and gave us some great feedback regarding his stay and how we can help him improve. Overall, very satisfied and we highly recommend Paws N Rec for your dogs boarding and training needs!\n\nAs for our Golden Retriever, they were able to place him in a play group with similar energy levels. He had an absolute blast of a time!

My Winnie loves Paws n Rec! He always comes home so happy and worn out after playing. I was nervous to leave him as he's from a shelter and didn't want him to think he was being given up again, but he seriously seems to love this place. I love how they update their social medias each day so I can see what he's up to. I do wish they updated his profile more often so I know how he's doing aside from just pictures, but understand they're busy. It makes me feel peace of mind knowing he's in good hands when I need to travel.

Took my rescue, Poppy, for an evaluation for her first-ever try at daycare. The team at Paws ‘n’ Rec Grace was amazing! From walking me through what her day would look like, to providing updates on how things were going and telling me about her behavior during the day.\n\nPoppy is definitely still an anxious girl and was abandoned at least once that I know of before I rescued her. I work from home, so we are basically always together, and although she’s stayed with friends and with sitters a few times, I think she was terrified she was being abandoned again, since the initial introduction of seeing kennels likely reminded her of the rescue. Thankfully, the team is really experienced and didn’t hold any of her nervousness against her, was super patient with her, and provided some tips for how I can help her adjust for future day stays!\n\nYou can tell the staff is really invested in and cares about each of the dogs that come through the doors. I spoke and emailed with multiple staff members who spent time with Poppy throughout the day — and it was clear they all got to know her and were invested in making sure she had a successful evaluation and want to see her have more fun during future visits.\n\nDropping your fur baby off somewhere and putting them in the care of others is always a nerve-wracking experience, but the whole team really put me at ease. Once Poppy saw me at pick up, she was back to herself, so I hope she’ll continue to learn and understand that this is a safe place to have fun away from home for a few hours, and that her mama will always come back for her.\n\nGrateful for the team for our successful first visit and looking forward to many more!

I brought my Levi here for an evaluation and he has a blast here every week I bring him here. He’s still young (a little over a year old) and had a bundle of energy. My dog has separation anxiety and it’s comforting that there’s someone there 24 hours a day.

My dog Blue has been a member for 6 months and he loves it! I love how he gets to interact with so many dogs, and I look forward to seeing the photos they post on instagram when he’s there. Everyone is so friendly and they treat your dog like their own.
